I'm not to terribly worried, I got a couple for now, maybe a little luck they're be some left in another 8-10days. If not the world will not come to a end, it'll seem that way tho  |
For some reason, I don't believe these are going to exactly fly off the shelf, except from us and the boating guys. Most hobby shops and uneducated go for the common combos and are totally oblivious to the goodness these motors create!
I know I'll be picking up a couple more motors later if they are still available. I picked up 2 for current projects but would like more for future expansion!! |
I hope your right Cory cause I want a couple more while the getting is good.

Buy more. Shipping goes from 28$ to 31$ when you add 10 1717's in cart.
Sucks if you buy one 20mm motor. |

OK, I dont want to create a new thread so I am writing here. I have an 1515 2200kv in my emaxx. I calculated that that speed vith my 17t pinion is 53 mph and if would have 1518 1800kv I would need 20t pinion to reach the same speed but with higher gearing I reduce runtime, increase heat on the motor and I think acceleration would be about the same because of the pinion. So can someone tell me why would 1518 be better?
