That is very nice work. I like every thing you have did.
You make me want to get one and try that. I don't think my painting will turn out as good.

if i had skill i would build one man. i love it so much that my words cannot explain!

overtki11 06.22.2006 08:28 PM

AwwW shucks man...now you gone and made me blush!!.....:007:

HAHA...do you have a tube bender?...coz thats was like the hardest part.....getting them two square rods to bend exactly at the same point and at the same degree.......you could use a bench vise and bend both at the same time....but then...i dun have a bench vise:035: hence the sorry use of the tube bender...:020:

toby 06.22.2006 08:30 PM

don;t have either!

crazyjr 06.22.2006 08:46 PM

Very nice work, even if it doesn't do what you want. you'll have a heck of a shelf queen

overtki11 06.22.2006 08:52 PM

haha...i guess you're right....cept that i dun have enuf shelf space for bashers let alone queens....:024:

and if i do leave it on the shelf, there'll be a higher chance that i'll tear it apart again...and try sumthin else...sad but none of my projects stay in one piece for long, not coz i wreck 'em buy coz i get bored very quickly....:027:

I am absolutely totally impressed! And trust me, I rarely ever say that! I fab stuff for RC cars and more frequently for full size drag cars so I totally appreciate your enginuity and craftsmanship. AND I absolutely LOVE the paint scheme. Absolutely COOL!

The only recommendations I can make from the 1:1 scale racecars (probably way too late now) is that you will have enhanced stability with a frontal track that equals or exceeds the rear track when drag racing. Also, a very slight offset or the rear axle(s) to the right side of the truck will help sometimes offset torque steer on launch.

Once again.....AWESOME IMPRESSIVE AND WICKED COOL! Great Job!

well, sad to say, yesterday's "Draggular II" speed run was cancelled due to bad weather...rained all day!:mad:1

but it did get to stretch its "legs" a little in a covered carpark....

the hauler drives very unlike a hauler....quite nimble for sumthin so long...turns well too. much to my surprise actually...LOL.

the shocks work well due to the rigidity of the chassis....

all in all, i am quite satisfied with the end result.

i will get a speed run recorded on vid soon so stay tuned folks!!:027: ....

coolhandcountry 06.26.2006 07:49 AM

It is always nice for it to handle better than expected. I looking forward to a video of it. Hey you may have started a new trend and don't know it yet.
