We all are waiting for this Monster Maxx to come! When it comes, ohh will I jump to get it! I'll jump like a little school girl even if it takes that to get it :005:

Really if it can withstand 10C Li-Pos, are you really going to be able to handle the power? Not only will you need a lot of room, but a lot of tires! :027:

I'm going to be using MaxAmps 7-Cell IB4200's to start off. Since they fried, I mean fried, the stock Titan motors, (A whole heap of smoke was coming up from under the body of my E-Maxx) I can't wait to see what they do to the Monster Maxx:028:

Do you mean 10s lipo? I currently in a 12s build up now. So yes. I think I can.

GorillaMaxx360 12.18.2006 06:59 PM

Holy Cow how do you controll a car on 10s lipo many people have a hard time controlling there cars on 4s lipo and they go 55 your talking like 88 90 mph mabey if this is true i think there will be new high speed records

coolhandcountry 12.18.2006 08:39 PM

I not sure what Kind of speed I am going to shot for. I will be going for power
and run time. I am real curious to see the difference. The most I ran before
was 26 cells on single. I like 6s alot to.

Leroy, your new 1/7 scale HB GTX2 should put a big smile on your face! :)

From what I understand, they were having trouble getting the motor to work the way they wanted it to. If that's the case, I wish they would just put the esc on the market w/o the motor. Then put the motor out when it's good to go. Summer is a long time to wait for this setup.

Hey GorillaMaxx . . . did you really want to know more about the HB Lightning Stadium 10? I saw you posted a question about anyone having one and I replied. Then, there wasn't any more about it. Is there something you would like to know that I might be able to help with?

GorillaMaxx360 12.19.2006 06:09 PM

i was looking at this because i needed a car to race in the nitro stadium class at my LHS. I was looking at this because it was classified as a stadium and it was 4WD with this in mind i thought i might give me an edge on the competition because it is 4WD VS the other 2wds i will be racing with . I will be racing on road with (2) GT2's (1) jato 3.3 and (1) XXXN-T i was just wanting something that would keep up with these and would handle better than them for a better chance at a win. Please PM me or post all the information you have got on these baby's i will read it all. tell me all of the facts, tips, tricks, do's, donts, goods, and bads ect... It will help me in my decision. Right now i have decided on the jato but if there is some good info you have got that is very descriptive and helpful i might change my mind. THANKS A TON

Hey, no problem. Since this isn't a thread on the Lightning 10, I'll try to be quick. You're right - the 4wd system is a huge advantage. If I was a better driver, I would be able to keep up with the 1/8 scale buggies at our track. I've put on some Snake Eyes tires, and some threaded shocks from a Duratrax Evader (rear shocks). I had to limit the play of them to shorten them about 1/4". Still not ideal, but better than stock.

Basically it is very fast, and with those tires (the stock ones are horrible) it handles excellent. I get a bunch of people at the track saying things like . . . "hey, what is that?" or something to the effect of "holy $%#@ that's fast - what is it?". Very durable too. With the same driver, it will easily smoke the Jato or any of the others you've mentioned. It's really a 1/10 scale truggy - not a stadium truck. Very durable too. If you want to know more or any photos, I could either e-mail you or start a new thread. Good luck!

why is the words (and this thread) sometimes red like stadium 10 in this thread.

BrianG 12.20.2006 03:44 PM

Huh?

I know that if you are linked to a thread that was found as the result of a search, it will highlight the search phrase. Is that what you mean?

GorillaMaxx360 12.20.2006 05:49 PM

yes thanks i was wondering why the words were sometimes red Thanks sorry for the dumb question just had to know

BrianG 12.20.2006 09:43 PM

Lol, not a dumb question, I was just trying to figure out the question! :)

GorillaMaxx360 12.20.2006 10:34 PM
