And as far as the statistical evidence - I would fall into those categories too, but only under certain circumstances which are never fully presented in poll data like that. To sum up where I come from - for whatever it's worth . . . I'm a conservative that believes in what this country stands for in principle. Life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. All within our borders, language, and culture. But at the same time, I totally respect opposing opinions. And I apologize if I'm taking you the wrong way here, but I am definitely going to defend the integrity of this country when I feel it's challenged. Which you may not actually be doing. Anyway, gotta go - Happy Thanksgiving to all. :mdr: |

I forgot to mention one thing to all. Please put some thought into this. Our kids one day will be taking care of us. If we don't do something right away, there won't be much for them. They are our future. That is why I care about kids more then ever. Who knows, maybe one of our kids will become a great leader or one that saved the world with a new invention. Any input to this from all of you will be helpful as well.

Wow, I looked at this thread earlier today and it felt a bit different, no blame, no politics (there was some stuff on vacines and autism) but the general tone was for this mans daughter and his happiness... People who are opressed will allways look to the good guys for help. They are desperate and if help dosn't come who is at fault but the good guys?
Luatch, I am so happy for you. So many people (especially well off Americans) claim to be happy, but so few KNOW JOY, you have a lovely little girl, she brings JOY to your home (autism or not) you are blessed, not with health, but with prosperity. Not with money but with something far more valuable. I have prayed (not just thought) for you, your house, and your family. For everyone who asks recieves, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread will give him a stone? Or if he asks him for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Christ Jesus, my lord and savior. Matthew 7:8-11 New King James Version God bless you (in the most literal sense of the word) Take your little girl in your arms, thank God for who she is, thank Him for His gift to you. Then if you want, take her to a few believers and have them pray for her healing, then trust that God loves you (remeber the joy she brings to you). Forgive the doctor, the man who created the vacine, the government that pushed it, and the business who profited from it. You can persue keeping this from happening to another family, out of love for those you do not know, but bitterness or hate will darken your door and seperate you from Him. Talk to Him, be honest. Yell, cry, plead, ask why if you need to. He has feelings too, how does He feel when he sees you, when you are looking with love at your little girl? Listen intently and you will get an awnser. |

Glad to see others express their faith and convictions. Looks like many of us will be praying for this young girl. Matt |
I really want to thank all of you for this dialogue. I appologize if I have offended anyone. That was never my goal. I truely am seeking a common ground where we can all stand.
Lutach, your love for your precious daughter has been the catalyst for a passionate exchange about some things that really do matter. That seems to be how it works. We get sane when tragedy happens. 911 was a profound illustration of this. Remember how people dropped everything to help in anyway they could. So sad and so inspiring. I have never felt the collective consciousness of love and compassion so powerfully. I have never felt such a longing to help and yet felt so helpless. And I have never been so proud to be an American. The video of your daughter's beaming smile really pulled at my heartstrings - so much joy on her face. You must be a special man. I am somewhat of an activist. I know this is not the time or place but, I felt compelled to speak. Children are our future. I want to do what I can to leave this world a better place for them. And thanks for all of your votes! |
I know your pain... Our Son is LD and it may be because of the same reason.. No one knows.. He is 13 and doing pretty good and is getting into rc racing at this time.. We are praying for you and your beautiful Daughter.. We have been down this long lonely road... too..

Lutach--- My heart aches for you. As many here know I had my first born son 8 months ago. He is my life. I can’t think of a life without him. Every day gets better. I really don’t understand fully how you feel. Most of us don’t. Only those that have walked along side you or down the same path. The thing we all have to remember is that God placed us on that path for a reason. It might take years or even decades to figure out what Gods reason is but he has one. My wife and I needed doctor’s assistance to have my son. He came to us at a great cost. About 4 months into our pregnancy there were some complications. I took my wife to a small town emergency room. The doctor there made some stupid mistakes and misjudgment calls. I can’t thank the nursing staff enough for their judgment call and for standing up to that doctor. He almost took my son before he was born. The anger I felt toward him was so intense. He is the only person I have wanted to take off this earth. My anger was so bad I was blinded to what he was doing. In his defense he was doing what I was paying him to do. That was make a judgment call based on his expertise. I am still repenting to this day for how I felt. Anger as you know is not the solution. Keep your chin up. As you read though all this we are here for you when you need us. Unity is what’s needed. That’s also the answer to many of the world problems today. Not just in America but all around the world people think they have the right answer and to hell with what others think. Unity would change that. Every strong nation in this world’s history had one thing in common. They stood for a common goal as a whole. Everything they did worked toward that goal and they did it as one. Every nation to ever be destroyed was destroyed because of division. They all wanted something else. They go different ways. We on this forum have common goals. We are all here for each other. I can only speak for my self but I bet other feel the same as me. If there is ever anything I can do to help you don’t hesitate to ask. I have sent out a link to this thread to many of my relatives and friends. It’s not much but it’s a start. Keep your chin up. You’re in our prayers!!!

www.vaccineinfo.net
Lots of good information there. Here in Illinois, we cannot opt out of vaccines for conviction related to medical risk. We have to opt out for religious reasons. Though we do have religious reasons to opt out, I honestly must say our issues with vaccinations are more related to practical problems more than religious. Our oldest (daughter) has full vaccines. She has been somewhat sickly and undergrown (various minor medical issues related to typical vaccine side effects). Out middle child has had a few vaccines, but not all. He is healthier than our daughter. Our last child has no vaccines and is healthy as an ox. Hmm, is that purely coincidental? I highly doubt it. Matt |

Very good info Matt. Wow, they want to recall 50 vaccines that uses Thimerosal as a preservative and the FDA has ignored it. I read something in FDA's website that they had banned Thimerosal, but I guess they didn't. Thank you for the info. |
