you could always get 6.5 bullet connectors. they will spark just like any others, but they will probably have the least amount of resistance compared to any other connector.

Problem with that is I have no plastic case to put them in to keep them from touching and shorting.

That doesn't do anything for the male bullet connectors... They are still exposed. I think I will just break down and spend the money on EC5's.

male bullets would be on the esc... so heat shrink the soldered end and you will be fine

True. I will just go with the EC5's.

Krawlin 01.12.2009 09:04 PM

I am going to be ordering my EC5's tonight.

traxxasbasher13 01.12.2009 09:07 PM

Cool.

Krawlin 01.12.2009 09:26 PM

Hopefully that will fix this problem and I can actually enjoy driving this thing. If new connectors doesn't solve the problem, time for an MMM.

traxxasbasher13 01.12.2009 09:28 PM

Yea...I hope my Mamba Max can handle a 80mm on 4s. It should do ok though because I have a huge cap and a bec.

I tried using a cap board (6 caps) with my MM and it still did the on off thing. Maybe it is just my connectors though. Just ordered some EC5's, should have them by Wednesday or Thursday.

traxxasbasher13 01.12.2009 11:52 PM

Wow 6 caps thats a lot lol.

BL_RV0 01.13.2009 12:20 AM

I suggest you sell the MM while it is still alive and invest in a MMM- you won't regret it.
