Watch that.
Yea you really got to watch that wallet desease, as it can kill you. Hey Lito I am also interested in that AX-10. I have not done any crawling, but if James(lincpimp) can do it, then anyone can do it. Right??? I really like all of the aftermarket aluminum stuff you can get for it:yes:. I love the BLING factor myself:intello:, and when you put one of those AX10's together right they look awesome just like the Baja 5b when it is all blinged out:party:. BUT like you said going that route can be very very costly in deed. Post up a thread on your project so we can see how it goes.

I should have placed several of those LOL icon within the body of this post. Instead me of cluttering up the post with a bunch of them. Just take this one  and place it in the spots you think I was going to put them or should of put them. If a sentence offends you that would be where I would put one. When you are done put it back where you got it for others to use.
It took a while to read through this thread only to end up talking about crawlers. So I feel like I need to get my money worth. I own both nitro and bl setups and enjoy both of them. Can't run the nitro in this cold weather. Most are bl setups right now and come spring I will put the engines back on one or two. The trigger and control of them are different and how you drive them too It's funny to find yourself feathering the throttle on your BL after you just got done trying to keep a nitro running. Both are frustrating as all hell at times. Both are expensive but not as expensive as flying, landing, or women or landing flying women. My dogs will chase both types of rcs, but niether has landed a flying women. The neighbors were annoyed with me running my electrics through their yards until I started running nitros through them. They now enjoy the BL setup and sometimes even wave or smile at me (when not running the nitro) when I go by. They were also unhappy about my sudden case of terets (sp) syndrom that could be heard from a few block away I've been told lately. I didn't know I could blurt out so many nasty and volgure words while wanting to kill something that I wished was alive so I could kill it so it would know I was so piss off at it I could kill it. I can assume they were pretty happy when they saw me throw the cause (a truggy with a pos .28) in the garbage. I did retrieve in and put something better on it. Can you guess what it was? It's the thrill of the chase, not the kill for some. Running them both is a challange I found to be as close to having my cake and eating it too (as far a hobbies and staying within the law goes). I have learned a lot from both side of the hobby and have been able to apply what I have learned so far to other aspects of my life. I found some women just don't like to be tuned, no matter how much hotter you think they should be. An iceberge is an iceberg, just run away fast and don't look back. If you've never had a nitro RC and only electrics. It is worth the time to try it. You may like it or you will hate it. You will learn from it and will be able to tell others based on your experience why you dislike the part of this hobby they have come to love. May as well just twist the knife for good measure while your at it. For those who have tried it and hate it. I know what you mean and understand why you simply hate it. Atleast you tried it and can hold an intellegent mature conversation about the pros and cons of the hobby. Some may call you quiters, wussies, or tell you to stay on the porch mommas boys. Hey, you should be use to all the names by now. I doubt quiting is something that comes pretty easy to some. I mean not everybody can handle both sides of the hobby. It takes a certain level of intelligence and common sense to do both. It took me a while before I learned not to look into the exhaust pipe while it was still running. It takes a big man to stick with it but I have to say it takes a bigger man to admit they can't. All my rcs ar fast and I have never felt the need for a video and gps to prove it. I have never felt the need to video tape myself just to prove I don't sit down while I piss either and if there is a women in the house I alway respect the position of the toliet seat. I have been unjustly accussed, tried, and sentenced, of such in insensitive selfish act. I did proved without a doubt it was in fact the dogs that should have had to bear that wrath of fury. I don't even drink from the toliet, and that one time it looked like it, I was giving not taking, some call it praying to the porcelen gods. So I don't know why I was always being blamed for the wet toliet seat to beging with. LOL I plan on getting a crawler too, then we can post those speed runs. There should be a limit to 10minutes per video even if you haven't gone the whole distance yet. I don't need three big couches in this living room. I saw those modular crawling blocks a while back made out of milk crate and well the damn dogs can sit on the floor when they watch tv. I can sit on my ass in front of this pc and run the crawler in the warmth of my living room. Hell I'm paying for the heat anyways. Can't run a nitro in doors though. Guess it will be a BL crawler. There it is in a nut shell, can't run them inside. Winner BL! In case some of you didn't realize I was joking around about some of this post and not all of it. I thought I would mention I wasn't really serious about the not joking on some of it but I was laughing at myself when I read some of it. It wasn't just at your expense either. It was more of at my expense, because the internet may be free but their is a toll for the onramp. So it did cost something to poke fun at all the people out there looking in reading this that are not members at RCM and have no voice to comment. We are not paraniod, we know your watching us and reading what we type! Look there he is again! |
That was a great post Gee. I almost fell from my chair laughing while reading your post.
And you're right about running the crawler indoors. I was sitting in front of my computer setting up the Sidewninder via Castle link, calibrating it, and running the AX 10 from the warmth and softness of my computer chair. |

First of all, Hi! im new member on this forum :) I just wanted to correct some things i seen about me that are incorrect.. When i tested my revo it was for myself, never intended to beat an electric or anything... Im tired of the people using my "record" for arguing , i do it for fun its part of my hobby, i post the video for people that may want to know how to get that kind of speed... Its just toys .... lol At that time i was not an ABmods Team driver yet, and all was done was installing the big block, gearing and tires. Nothing serious :) I never talk about something that may not happen, money can be an issue in RC lol Thats why i posted result once done... What was time consuming is repair the transmission that was failing just about every time igot it out for speed runs :) Anyway, just wanted to put fact straight about that, i read a lot of stuff about me i have no idea where it came from! Finaly im not into that nitro vs electric thing, i run what i like until i switch stuff, right now its nitro who know what it will be next :) Mike |

Do you have a vid showing the whole boat with it at WOT? From what I saw, I like it. I've always been a big fan of big ocean racing boats. Turbine power rocks! |
33' eliminator daytona 2200hp on pump gas, 5 broken drives, way too much torque.
http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...23-05_1047.jpg My 25'eliminator daytona boat only ~900hp btw its for sale: http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...x/CIMG0312.jpg |
Got any other vids of it? Or at least pics of the hull?
Love em. |
Geeezzee.
Those boats are killer. My first thought was how in the hell can he afford R/C with those toys sitting in the driveway? I guess you must be doing ok compaired to most. Life is good?
|
The 33' is not mine its my buddies he owns a limo business and he got a really good deal on the engines from me. When I work I make decent money and I live a drug, smoke and alcohol free life. I work with alot of guys the either drink or waste their hard erned money on drugs or cigarettes and 90% of then dont even own a home.Times are tough right now and the savings is getting hit hard that why I am going to sell the boat. Shoot my buddy is really struggling also he just built a 1.5 million dollar house and can barely make the payments. This recession is hitting hard the area next to the 15 freeway over here is called forclosure alley thousands of homes forclosed on. I bought a home I could afford when it hit the fan most people didnt do that.
