A thin aluminum U-profile will be the primary holder for the Lipo.

Slide the lipo in place (shown w/o the side plate in place)

I manufactured a small holder (in Delrin) to be used for securing the lipo

And here is how to use it - I think you get the point.

Tomorrow I will transfer the images for the holders for the ESC, final assembly etc.
|
Yes please.... My mailbox just exploded :D :D :D :D
|
Damn thats a work of art & engineering, we all really appreciate you doing the translation & tranfering images over. Just needs a pair of wings really.... :mdr:
|
Man you have quite some pace in your build. Was gone for one day and had to read through 5 pages (not that I mind) :intello:.
Anyway it looks awesome. Everything is extremely beefy and well thought of. Can't wait to see that thing running and putting all that power to the ground! EDIT: Hmmm |
Yeah, it moves - a lot..
I will have transfered all images etc by this weekend, but please feel free to visit the Swedish forum mentioned in my first posts. |
I saw the videos on Swedish forum. Did you use full throttle on these videos any moment?
|
We were two drivers, I used full throttle a few times, but the truck flips so I need more space for it to stretch out fully. I hope to shoot such video some time soon, but now it is raining:cry:
|
Next I had to make a holder for the ESC, I used the left overs from the upper chassis plate.
