That's why my supermaxx is fully polished!

Why? Because I've always wanted one and , well, because I can!

As soon as my mis-fitting parts come back from FLM I'll work on reassembling it all! Maybe it will be finished before winter?!?!?!?!

LOL!

get the wires out of sight, that's the advice i can give you..

Serum 09.28.2006 03:19 PM

Winter is right around the corner, you know...

aqwut 09.28.2006 03:31 PM

yeah... my custom maXX is gonna be a beautiful thing.... she's gonna love the winter days, and winter nights.. cuz it's so bright outside..a nd all the parking lots are empty.... less traffic.... parts breaks faster.. whoohoo.. :)

Serum 09.28.2006 03:34 PM

plastic is more brittle when it freezing. Watch out with RPM rims.. I've seen them brake like a plastic spoon.

aqwut 09.28.2006 03:45 PM

RPM makes rims.... ? I seriously didn't even know that...

Serum 09.28.2006 03:47 PM

Yeah, the titan stablemaxxes are nice. (they have got a nice off-set)

aqwut 09.28.2006 03:49 PM

are they 40 series size tires..... ?.. doesn't the wide offset make it harder on the axles for landing?...

Serum 09.28.2006 04:00 PM

No 40 series, unfortunately.. Only maxx sized..

And yes, the 40 series are harder on your drivetrain from the impacts of jumps.

aqwut 09.28.2006 04:56 PM

you guys think the Cen Genesis wheels is too big and too hard on the Hotbodies diff for the Maxx Trucks?..... I was thinking of gettin' this big babies.. but might just stick to the 40 series proline wheels...

squeeforever 09.28.2006 05:06 PM

I would stick with the Prolines, but the Cen wheels would be alright...

aqwut 09.28.2006 06:03 PM

the cen wheels do look nice.... big and low profile... plus 23mm hubs... it's perfect... but I have no idea how heavy it is....

Serum 09.29.2006 01:29 AM

Looking at their size, i don't think they will win any weight-watcher rewards..

aqwut 09.29.2006 05:28 AM

that's too bad.. I guess I'll just stick to the standard or 40 series.... Sending payment for the custom chassis today.... the guys gettin' the Carbon Fiber from Penguin rc.... Gonna make some Carbon fiber shock towers for the maxx also... good idea to sandwich 2 1/8" CF together...?

Serum 09.29.2006 06:09 AM

For a shocktower, you need the 2 layers for sure. are you planning on using 4 or 8 shocks?
