I assumed you were using a Sentilon, what are you using for an ESC?

Awesome awesome work. I'm jealous, I wish I had this knowledge at an age as young as you are. You better be some electrical or mechanical engineer when you grow up.

One question, what's your weight? I may never brushless up a wheelchair, but I can definitely see a brushless old person scooter ripping up the footpaths!

that's exactly what I want to be when I grow up.. I love this stuff. At the moment I weigh 140lbs.

And I don't think I mentioned it yet, but my charger isn't charging and if I can't get it to work I'll have to get a new one. The batteries are sitting at 3.5v and they won't get charged till I figure out the charger issue. I wanna ride this thing before the weather gets too cd so hopefully I get it worked out soon.

You're well ahead of these three..... ROFL Top Gear just gets better.

Yeah, that had me in stitches watching that; its actually pretty fast when only one person is onboard, but with 3 people... 10mph top speed...

+1 Love TopGear. Remember kids, Porsches are for ****s.

IDK if I want to go brushless, but LiPos are a must:party:

does anyone know if the stock elc will handel lipos, or will it be too many amps and burn everything up??

Metallover 02.19.2010 09:55 PM

It will get hot but it probably won't burn up on 6s lipo.

suicideneil 02.20.2010 04:56 AM

$25? They cost £145 in the UK, and thats with money off...
:surprised:

What about Life cells instead of lipos- same kind price but 6s2p or 3p even would net you ~22v and plenty of runtime.

I thought of that too:neutral:

mom is laying the guilt trip on my and wants me to give it to my 8 year old sis:diablo:

Give =, sell at a small profit =

You can always find another deal on a good/cheap scooter to convert, but if you bought it with your money with the intention of making something cool out of it, I wouldnt be giving it away out of guilt. Little sister can get her own $10 barbie scooter if she wants one that bad, or is it just your mom saying you should give it to her?
