Or you can try Luciano's Chinese ESCs. I ordered a 6S ESC from him. We'll see how it stacks up when it arrives :intello:.

I am going with the 10s model... Sounds like a winner to me. I have an aveox 36/38/2 1200kv motor (1515 sized) that should work well on 8-10s! Hope we have better success with them than we are having with the MMM.

How many people on here have used the R1 Pro? Before the MMM was out, the MM was the main ESC used

took mine for a 1/2hr use and its still working. update if it does happen to cark it.. fully stock bar a bit of unshrinked heatshrink tubing over the signal wires and switch - they looked like they would get worn down took quickly.

also: i know this thing can pull more than 110A -hooked up my wattmeter inline and its rated for 100A max... very happy with the zippy pack ive got - just a bit too heavy!!

Two more failures and the poll will be dead even :intello::intello::na:.

Well, I started this poll 9 pages ago and I finally voted tonight. Thanks to bad weather, the last two weeks of racing have been cancelled at my track. I've taken my MMMv2 out twice for some testing around the house and once for a set of packs at the track but I didn't want to vote until I had a full day of racing, 4 sets of packs through it. Today was that day. My MMMv2 worked flawlessly.

But...

The guy pitting next to me, also a member here on this forum, had a nearly identical E-Revo to mine and his MMMv2 fried! Same mounting position, also running 4s. His just stopped and smelled of burning. So on the day, out in the real world, the MMMv2 is still at about a 50% failure rate. I'm very worried that mine will die at the worst possible moment...I sure wish that Castle would tell us what's going on.

I have another new V2. Do I get to vote again for the 2nd one?

Are there others out there with more than one V2? I'd like to get a true read by letting people vote for all of the V2s they have rather than just once.

TruckBasher 09.13.2008 10:14 PM

I have 2 ....one died (no warranty..modded version) and one that had 15mins only still alive but inconclusive as my truck broke a couple of alu before I could test MMM  (and no I havent voted yet for the 2nd one  )

I believe Brian is trying to add both working/failure units for users that have multiple MMM...

e-mikey 09.14.2008 02:02 AM

My second one died today. Anyway of putting another failed up there?

This has to be CC's worst nightmare.

mxracer 09.14.2008 07:57 AM

i purchased 5 .. the first one died today , 1 full pack flawless , 2nd pack turned on , and now seems to be a bec problem .. lets see how the next 4 go ?

JaySki 09.14.2008 08:29 AM

I have had 3 more die from exchanges. 2 BEC failures and 1 up in flames.

lolllme too i think that:yes:

and the worst for me its that i have 3 mmmv2 in the mail.....arrrggghhhhhh

killjoyken 09.14.2008 01:03 PM

I've got 2 V2s back from Castle a while ago but haven't had the nerve to try them out. Reading the posts about them going up in flames has got me spooked. I've got one almost ready to go, but I'm just debating if I want to use the CCBEC or not.

It really boggles my mind that I can run a MM/CCBEC on 4s all day long in this big, heavy truck, but my "badass" MMM fails.
