tempted- imagine if we were to band together and use our powers for good instead of evil. We could surely rule some third world. Viva la revolucion!!

I do believe this is one of the most humorous comments I've seen given the previous altercations. True, though. A pair of individuals who bend words better than anyone working together. We should start a lawfirm.

i am pretty confident that the summit will be a very nice truck that offers a whole lot of fun!

but since none of us has driven one..... its all speculation.

so lets wait and see.

Can't a change of the spur and pinion gear change the final drive ratio?

suicideneil 11.11.2008 01:08 PM

Certainly, buts its all proportionate to the internal gear ratios- still a very big difference in 1st and 2nd gear speeds. I reckon with the tallest gearing possible, you'd still be looking at something like 15mph and 35-40mph absolute topspeeds, unless you swapped out the tranny gears for the close range gear sets.... might as well buy the erevo and just pick up some locking diffs from ebay when they pop up...

coolhandcountry 11.11.2008 07:28 PM

If you going for speed 2nd gear would be great.
If you want slow first gear wide ratio would work.
But then again the truck is tall and not made to go hi speed cornering.
For me the truck would fit what I do.
That is why it is good to have a variety
