I love all of my UE 8-spiders! Just remember to use a little thinner oil in them, since the added spider gears makes your oil act and feel like it is much thicker. If you normally run 50k front and 10k rear, run 30k front and 7k rear in the 8-spiders.

Makes sense thanks!

Do they make 8-spider diffs for the Revo?

jayjay283 07.05.2009 11:40 PM

they will fit in a revo carrier Mike used to or may be making again, Check TDC57's erevo posts in the gorilla maxx section....same as emaxx, different case. Mike was going for a v2 or v3 case as why they dropped off the site for a bit, they fit them (6s+8s) That would be the last you ever needed to talk to those revo gears, again properly shimmed.

Way off in the future (after I build my savvy and my boat) I'm thinking about building a 3s super lite maxx. What do you guys think?

zeropointbug 07.06.2009 12:13 AM

Superlite maxx... I don't think they are anything special anymore. But for bashing, sure. Back in the day I would have loved a superlite maxx! It would be a great racing platform if used in conjunction with Gorillamaxx chassis (RacerX front and rear ends).
