Well if he says everything has been shipped, he needs to get on a computer and post that publicly on this forum so that if he doesn't ship stuff, then we can prove he once again lied. And to be honest, I think he lied to you Ben, I highly doubt he shipped everything because he doesn't seem willing to post that he has on the public forum.

brushlessboy16 04.02.2009 09:08 PM

Im texting back and forth with him, he claims he sent out your cvds, servo to erevonut, all but the esc to Arct1k

Well, if he claims they are shipped, he needs to provide tracking numbers if its priority, and post here himself instead of having Ben be a middleman for him.

Metallover 04.02.2009 09:13 PM

I think we should all stop arguing about this before this thread gets shut down. I've dealt with Ian before. I bought some lipos and he shipped them out fast. I've had no problems with him.

From what I've just heard, he may not be as good as I thought. Posting so often he will eventually make everything right. He won't just stop posting.... I think he should put some money in anything he shipped out late to cover lateness in shipping and not arriving via priority etc.

Now he is young so you almost have to expect these kinds of things, but being young shouldn't give anyone the excuse to not be a good shipper and hold his word.

rawfuls 04.02.2009 09:14 PM

Funny, how come he doesn't jump on the computer to tell us?
Not trying to sniff him out or anything..

Just...

Dollar says that he can't get on the computer because:

A) Parents
B) Homework
C) "Busy"
D) Grounded

When was the last time he posted....

Classic wheeler dealer dilemma. Too many balls in the air. I hope BL_RVO slows down and does what he says from now on, and I hope the rest can learn to have patience. Whatever. I hope all goes well for all involved.

He posted yesterday morning. He'll probably be on tonight, I have no doubt in my mind he won't get on unless he is doing something social...

I'm sure he will work things out with everybody. If he doesn't get on by the end of this weekend then there is something wrong.

But most of this stuff he didn't send was PIF, only a few seemed to have money involved, so it shouldn't be hard to just ship when requested of him. It's not like he was buying/wanting and selling/offering stuff at some tremendous rate....

E-Revonut 04.02.2009 09:27 PM

I agree we shouldn't keep talking about this here. I had said I wouldn't flame him on the forum and never would have said anything but I seen a couple others having problems too. If he was just honest and shipped when he said he was going to or told me that he wasn't able to that day I wouldn't have a problem. I know life throws a lot of curve balls at us and things don't always happen when you think. Moral here.....If you can't ship when you say you are be honest and let the person know!

I've got one.

Ok, so I finally get my stuff from Ian in the mail. Notice, I asked for CVD's, he said he had one, I talked to him on AIM, he said he had 4. And again, this is CVD's I asked for and he said he had. So anyway, I open the box, and guess what I find. Not CVD's. Not Revo sliders or anything special. I find stock, 2.5 Maxx, sliders. The thin, crappy flexible plastic stock 2.5 Maxx sliders. He told me on AIM that he had Traxxas CVD's, then when I finally get my box in the mail, I realize he flat out lied to me and sent me crappy plastic stock thin 2.5 Maxx sliders.

I sent him $160 worth of Maxx stuff for his Pay It Forward Maxx project, I never charged him a cent, never asked him for a cent, all of the parts were free, the shipping was free, and I shipped it to him priority, I paid to ship it to him. Now I ask for 4 Traxxas CVD's because he said he had a CVD here on RCM and on AIM he told me he had 4 Traxxas CVD's, and I asked him for those and he lies tells me he will ship them that Saturday, then says he didn't and lies to me again by giving me this story of his post office being open on Sunday, then he doesn't even have the decency to ship the stuff to me via priority mail, he ships with the slow first class even though I shipped to him priority and never asked him to pay a cent of the shipping or for the parts, then when I finally get my stuff from him in the mail, I open the box, and there are 4 of the crappy, plastic, thin, weak, stock, worthless 2.5 Maxx sliders. And that made for another lie, telling me he would send me Traxxas CVD's and he sent me the crappy, plastic, thin, weak, stock, worthless 2.5 Maxx sliders!!!!! I SEND HIM $160 WORTH OF STUFF FOR A PAY IT FORWARD MAXX PROJECT I RARELY EVEN SEE OR HEAR ABOUT AND THIS IS WHAT I GET IN RETURN, THESE LAME WEAK P.O.S. 2.5 MAXX SLIDERS!?!?!?!?! If you haven't noticed, I am thoroughly pissed off.

Now I know this wasn't a trade and I sent him those $160 worth of Maxx parts totally free as a Pay It Forward, but when someone does something like that for you, you repay the favor, you Re-Pay It Forward, something he obviously did not do for me. He lied to me and sent me these crappy 2.5 Maxx sliders, after I sent him $160 worth of Maxx parts for free.

So Ian (BL_RV0), if you are reading this, I sure as hell hope you are enjoying those Maxx parts and I hope you are happy with what you have done. You always complain to me about not having any friends, well this is no way to make any friends and you just lost one. Your actions truly disgust me.

I guess this should serve as a warning to others, to prove just how low people can be.

Krawlin 04.03.2009 08:01 PM

Hopefully something like this doesn't happen to anyone else that he hasn't yet shipped to.

And he has yet to sign on a computer and confess to doing this and try to make right on the forums....

Arct1k 04.03.2009 08:06 PM

I don't want to step in here but this is not what this forum stands for from either side...

I would suggest letting this drop before Mike has to step in - Is it annoying yes - Is it worth a big drama and busting a blood vessel no...

This is not what I intended when I introduced PIF last year...

Thank you

BL_RV0 04.03.2009 08:33 PM

Hey all,

I'm really sorry for all that Ive been causing problems with lately. I have shipped the pinion to entjoles, the servo to erevonut, the ESC to lincpimp, the CVDs to krawlin, and the bulks and idler to ben. I apologize to krawlin for not knowing that CVDs meant metal shafts, I thought that they were the plastic sliders. He responds by saying "don't bulls--- he about not knowing what the f--- CVDs are..."
The reason my shipping was very tardy was because my precious Tillie (10yr old australian shepherd) is sick and has to have multiple surgeries to get a malignant tumor removed. Ive just been very worried about her, and very busy with junior olympics and track & field. I hope you all can forgive me fr my major shortcomings and, if you haven't got your items yet, you will tomorrow. Once aagin, Iapologize.

_paralyzed_ 04.03.2009 08:41 PM

BL_RVO- thanks for chiming in. We wish you the best and all feel this is unlike you

Krawlin- I do appreciate knowing what happened. BL_RVO has been around for awhile and this is totally out of his character

Everybody- the internet is not as anonymous as we think. Hold yourself as accountable here as you would with someone you see everyday. And when things come up that frustrate us, take a step back and see what happens, anger really is wasted energy. I wish things turned out better, and I hope Arct1k gets his bk warrior back. We can only control whaat we do....

BL_RV0 04.03.2009 08:44 PM

Arct1k, BK 9920 will be returned to you (shipped) tomorrow if you PM me your address, thanks.

Arct1k 04.03.2009 08:48 PM

PIF - Who needs a BK and why?

Note - It only runs 2 pole motors and needs an UBEC...

Karwlin told me you needed one, I guess he just wanted to add insult to injury. FWIW he just blocked me on AIM without letting me get a word in edgewise.

Not unless you have a 2 pole motor which probably wouldn't work well for crawling.

George16 04.03.2009 09:05 PM

Are the Integy 55T 2 or 4 pole motors. I have one but didn't care to read the tech specs.

BL_RV0 04.03.2009 09:08 PM

Integy are brushed motors. They will not work with the BK controller as I don't think it has a brushed mode.

I'll pass then. Thanks.

Modding_out 04.03.2009 09:19 PM

Can I have the BK 9920 then? ( for my Rustler I'm working on. )

BL_RV0 04.03.2009 09:31 PM

The 9920 will not fit in a rustler without major dremel work to the chassis. It's too stupidly long...

Krawlin 04.03.2009 09:40 PM

Sorry guys if you think the following post is a flame, but just getting this stuff out there.

Yeah, you know well what CVD's are after being on these forums for so long and having so much RC stuff over the years, so don't try to play dumb. And common sense tells you that thin plastic 2.5 Maxx slider shafts don't hold up to brushless power. And not only that, but 2 of them were twisted, and on one of the sliders, it has the diff to wheel female slider with a center male slider.... And incase you don't believe me, I have picture proof. Sorry for bad quality, taken on my cell phone -

I am not adding insult to injury, I am telling the truth about what you did. And I blocked you because I was tired of your lies.

So not only did he not send me CVD's, he sends me 2 twisted crappy 2.5 Maxx half shafts along with 1 "set" of sliders being a female diff to wheel shaft with a male tranny to diff center shaft.

Some people just lie and swear to it.

Modding_out 04.03.2009 10:54 PM

how big is it? I thought they were small? if their for a emaxx I have a 7xl that needs a mate.

BL_RV0 04.03.2009 10:55 PM

BKs are not small. They are narrow but long. This one has an addtl cap shrink'd to the battery wires, it adds another 35mm or so to the overall length.

To be honest, I actually need one. I fried BOTH of mine in about 30 minutes (still don't know what it was but I think it might have been a bad motor) and I don't have the money to replace them. :(

lincpimp 04.04.2009 01:35 PM

Looks like I will be staying out of the PIF thread...

As for the BK questions, it will fit a rustler, just put it on the stock esc tray, and run the wires sideways. It will only run a 2 pole motor (feigao hacker lehner) and needs an external bec if you plan to run more than 2s lipo.

BL_RV0 04.04.2009 05:28 PM

Arct1k I sent you a PM about the GTP

Krawlin 04.04.2009 09:34 PM

Would anyone happen to have a spool that will fit the 3906 Maxx diffs? Just ran my Maxx and wasn't even out there for 3 minutes and the spiders gave out. So anyway, if anyone has a spool that fits a 3906 Maxx diff laying around, please PM me.

Losi 8 Mount

I've upgraded, to the quality of RCM gear :yipi: so some-one can have my used parts in really good nic. Either as spares or for your new build. All I ask for is shipping, and that would be about 8 bucks

PM me if you like and give your address.

Losi 8 mount and 45t plastic spur.
