The best of the best ESC.
 

Hello.

What you guys think about that, what is the most "handsome" ESC if my budget is about 200-300 euro ( 300-470$ ) ? I will use 4-6S LiPos, I need high voltages. I dont have car and LiPo:s yet, but I will buy heavy monster with big LiPo packs.

I live in Finland, but I can get any controller I need.

MGM is good enough, I had one of them, 16016.

But, what else I can get with that money ? I need that esc to big cars, like 1:10-1:8 cars. That ESC must be sensorless, and working with Lehner and Neu motors.

I know that Mamba Max is not enough for heavy cars with high Amps and voltages, so I dont buy it.

Mamba Max Monster is coming out, but they are not working fine ( smoked controllers ) .



What choises I have ?

just wait on the MMM. castle will get it working fine.

So, how much time I need to wait ? No one in Finland have those MMM:s yet. Smoked controller is not very funny thing for them who dont have time to wait many months.

I can wait max. 2 or 3 months, then come first snows in there North side of world =) .

Mgm Compro

Do you have something to say that MGM is the best ESC for me ? If you have one you can tell me more information about your opinion why.

you wont have to wait that long. The mgm are good controllers but the MMM is so smooth. I have a original MMM that is still kicking with no problems. I heard Castle is suppose to start shipping a 2nd batch of MMM by next month.

Oh, a good news. I didn't know that I dont need to wait so long, but its good thing to know:yes: I had Mamba Max and MGM 16018, and they both are good enough. But the mamba max has more settings and the programming is awesome, If the MMM is something like Mamba Max, I will buy it if it worth it.

Price of ESC is not very big problem, but the working is very big thing to me. I want easy and smooth ESC like all rc-monster members, and I will wait wor MMM if needed :) .

But I will hear another voices too, what another good choises we have ?

The MMM would be good controller as long as all is well with next batch. The MGM's are quite good now, with the latest software version. I have had zero problems with the latest MGM software, after seeing many problems with the earlier software version.

Okay. I am hoping that those MMM controllers are coming ASAP, because I really like to buy one.

Your best bet is to pre-order from Mike - He committed to buying so many I'm sure he way up their priority list... Also support the monster...
