Castle SHV ESC's!

I just ran across a secret site where supposidly castle releases info and pics about their projects. They have SHV ESC's that are suppose to be coming out soon that can handle up to 90v! Its something all of you guys who like super overkill would enjoy.

Heres the link- http://www.castlespecialprojects.com/csp_90_volts.html

Ive heard these ESC's are put on hold right now due to customer spending that has gone down alot because of the recession lately. Hopefully once the economy picks up again Castle might give us a little more info and possible release them...

There was a thread a while back on this in the Castle Creations section. they look pretty nice- gotta love the industrial castle link

Yeah, I've seen a few threads on these. There's a video somewhere on RCG where castle was testing with them.

Wow, we should get together and design an electric car and use this as the speed controller. Get 4 of those 45mm kb motors, one for each wheel. We could have 4 wheel drive and 120 hp. Buy a couple of lipo's and we are in business. Can you image going to the mechanic and saying, yeah just put a new speed controller. Thats all we would need. I bet Joe has got his barbie keep going 80mph with some unlucky dude at the wheel begging to stop.

This has got to be a robotics dream brushless ESC.

i tried to get our mentor to look into Bl for some of our mechanisms, not drive thouhg.. wayy too expensive..

they said no. :( but i did get them to use deans on removable components whitch was wayy easier to work with then crimped connections

I think there was a crazy guy by the name of lutach who is going to get one for his 1/8 F1, but the F1 is not there yet and the 72V pack(s) is just sitting there waiting for some action. That lutach is one crazy bastard.

That fool lutach was saying a 1515/3Y or a 1521/2Y (If it fits) would be a nice choice for a up to the red line F1 stuff. I think lutach is just a bit :drunk: to think straight most of the time .
