MMM hold down.

Does anybody know if the MMM hold down, in the BL E-Revo, is available yet?

Would be nice to have for sure! I have a feeling they will sell the snot out of those hold downs when they are released.

What's the Traxxas part number for that thing?

Carraig042 11.30.2008 10:55 AM

I have not seen the part number for it yet as their exploded views are not available for the BL E-Revo.

ya im sure its just as good as the servo tape i use until the MMM comes apart lol. the clips are not the best way to keep the case together.

Try putting some electrical tape on the seams. Then use a lighter to kind of melt the tape a little so it sticks really good. Be careful, do not get it too hot.

Where did you see the savage flux was going to use the MMM?

traxxasbasher13 12.01.2008 12:59 AM

It is logical. They use the Sidewinder system in one of their other RCs, why waste time and money to develop your own system when you can outsource it to a known company that makes a good product and backs it up?

traxxasbasher13 12.01.2008 01:12 AM

Yea thats true.

I heard this same argument about Traxxas and Novak and it really doesn't hold. Until someone has definitive proof that is what is in it then it can't be said with any kind of certainty.

This should convince you it's a rebadged MMM. Note the "Castle Creations" writing on the wire.
