Your favorite 1/10 4wd electric?
 

I'm thinking about picking one of these up, and have considered a few options. Setup will be a VXL on 2s. I've been thinking about the TT sparrowhawk XT, the TT sparrowhawk XB, the kyosho lazer ZX-5, Team academy SB pro, and the HPI brama. What is your favorite out of these, or any others I missed around the $150-200 price range?

Unique Battery Fit

The Cyber 10B provides a unique RC 'first' with the drivetrain routing over the battery - the rear diff input shaft is angled up to allow the rear center driveshaft to travel just over the battery. This allows the fitting of several different types of batteries: stick, side-by-side and even hard-case Li-Po!

Batteries are held in place with a secure plastic strap and two height-adjustable body clips. There's even wire routing options for the different battery types, whether you are using stick packs with wires that come out the end of the pack, or Li-Po packs that use fitted plugs!

Cool. I think I'll pick up one of these and a medusa 50-3300 to use with my spare MM and SPC 5000 3s lipo.

the TTs do have captured cvds in the bearings, sealed metal diffs, and parts are not a problem from ACE hobby. if your playing this is what i recomend, the academy has drivetrain problems, and the Kyosho is kinda fragile in the rear end if your not a very good driver.

The TTs are looking good to me.

I had an academy sb pro V1, and it was solid. People used to have problems with the outdrives failing on them, but I just used a brass collar on the outdrives and never had a single problem. I was running a Feigao 540 6S on 2s with great success. My main gripe about academy is with their parts support options. There are very few stores that carry academy (only MRC and Stormer that I know of), and almost no aftermarket parts to speak of (save for the diggity designs stuff).

I have a Kyosho lazer SP and it is awesome. But if you are thinking about getting one of the RTR readysets in the $150-200 range i would pass for something else, they break really easy. Have you thought about the Tamiya Durga? I know a couple of people that have em and they seem to take a beating pretty well.

I'll agree but only for the Academy sb2 pro, I beat the crap out of mine and broke nothing. I want to try the TT sparrowhawk XT
