Racer X Rear Set backs

Here is some of the work I'm in the process of doing. Changing from gorilla suspension to racer x.

What do you think of the RacerX?

I really like them. They are not as lightweight as the gorilla, and the handling may not be as good. We will check that out once I get a chance to drive it. I liked the gorilla due to the fact that the shocks sat better IMO. But we will see. I love the fact that the racer x definately seems to be more durable.

Hmm, I've heard a lot more better reviews that the RacerX is better handling than the Gorilla but I guess it is down to opinion. Luck forward to hearing what you think.

All I know is, with my gorilla, I could do skidding stops on pavement without my truck tipping. I would say that is pretty good. But as stated "nickster", I have not tried the racer x, and i can only hope for the best. I will let you know the difference though. I never ran the racer x so, I can't say foresure, just what I can tell by difference in the towers and the shock stance.
I'm hoping that it's true they handle better. I've compared to the handling for a racer x set up for bashin, and I pretty much out handled that. But we will see!:027:

Newe......I know you liked the gorilla suspension, and you havn't run the racer x yet.....you are comparing apples to oranges here, and I'm sure if you give it a chance you will like it alot.......but it seems like you have allready made the decision in your mind that it is not as good as the gorilla because you cant, do power slides or anything like that....just wait and see....i'm sure you will like it...just give it a chance...

Yes and no, I was not looking to so much to compare by "powerslides", it was a statement to show the handling of the gorilla. Apples and oranges would be like suspension to chassis comparison. The set ups are different and I can see why one would handle better than the other is all. And my mind is NOT made up until I drive the racer x, which I'm sure I will like with no probs. And I said nothing bad about the racer x, I know I will like it, but how different the handling will be is the question. And actually, this was to show the pics is all.:005:

Angle of the arms

Hey guys, I could use some help. Anyone who has set backs, I could use some pics on how to adjust the rear arms. I'm just not sure if they should be level all the way to the knuckles, or if it's ok that the height increases a tad.
So if anyone has some good pics on where to set the upper links and what not, that would way cool!!!!

Thanks a million!
