me and my g/f broke up.

sooooooooooo after about a year anda half of long distance (she lived in the same town as me for a year.... then 1 1/2 of long distance) things went to s@#t

to make a long story short............

we broke up.

just lettin yall know so you dont say nothing about her because it sorta makes me sad uk?

o and im sure some of you are wondering..... she broke up with me.

i was sad... but DAMN there are so many advantages!! since im not moving away and dont have to spend 400 bucks a month on rent ill be buying an 08 chevy silverado soon.:yipi::yipi:

squeeforever 02.08.2008 02:20 AM

Damn, that sucks dude...

Personally, I would look for something like a '04 GMC Vortec High Output with the 350+ HP 6.0 Vortec. With headers, catback, and a intake, they run in the high 13's. But maybe speed isn't your thing. I love driving my grandpaws. Its just to fun...

Hickoryhead 02.08.2008 08:18 AM

Sorry buddy. Just think of all the fun your can now have not having her around.

skillx 02.08.2008 10:21 AM

sucks man! Sorry to hear....

lincpimp 02.08.2008 10:25 AM

Time to change your avatar, man. Unless that is not the g/f?!

Sorry to hear about that, but you are still young and have plenty of time to scare up another woman! I stayed single for as long as I could before getting married, and had a great time with my friends, memories that I will always look back at and enjoy.

I always feel for young guys that get all tied down early on, they miss the best parts of being young.

BrianG 02.08.2008 10:39 AM

Sorry to hear about your loss man. But aside from a house and/or car, a woman is usually the highest expense a guy can have, so now think of all the free cash you'll have!

im movin on!

and ya i need to change it!
i tried last night but all my pics were too big.

ClodMaxx 02.08.2008 10:59 AM

i'm very sorry to hear that - and i won't make any cliche analogies of fishies in the sea either. it never brought me any comfort, lol. the best thing to do is cut loose and have fun!! :yipi:

captain harlock 02.08.2008 11:12 AM

I'd look for a lovely wife and live with her for the rest of our lives( even if at some points we dispute). A Silverado will not sooth you as much as a warm touch from a loving wife.
My personal thoughts, though.

Arct1k 02.08.2008 11:21 AM

Bad luck - there is always the foreign legion or an mbx5t conversion....

If that Silverado had leather seats and some 22s, I'd have to disagree.

BP-Revo 02.08.2008 11:38 AM

Aww...sorry to hear. But IMO, at our ages (if I recall you are like, 17 or 18?), long distance relationships don't work...

Either way, as everyone else said, look at the positive side - more money for YOUR hobbies hehehe... :mdr:

My ex is now married to an ex rc buddy. He has the headaches of her now and doesn't play with rc's anymore, I am back in rc's with a vengeance since and having a ball.

I am still waiting for science to introduce "organs" in a guitar, then I am set hehe, they only talk back when you play them right

Foreign Legion???????????:lol::lol:

Seriously though pain is a good thing it helps you grow. Good luck.

Pain

Plus as the saying goes pain only lasts for so long:lol:. Life goes on. My father always to me something that has stuck with me for many years already. Life is like a speeding train going down the tracks. You can either get on board and enjoy the ride, of sit by and watch the train go by. The ride is never perfect or without bumps in the road. Still the ride is much more fun than just sitting and watching everyone else having fun:yipi:. She walked away which means she is not the one. Believe me there will be more to come over the next thirty years. Don't dwell on what you cannot change. Life is way too short for that kind of self pitty. Get on your bike and move on.

ya she was saying shes sorry for breaking my heart and all that but i told her that she shouldnt be sorry. we werent right for eachother and she ended it. no reason to get upset about something that is over with.

jhautz 02.08.2008 05:09 PM

First off.... Sorry to hear this. It sounds like you really cared for her.

Second... DUDE! Your 17. There is one thing I can gaurantee.... There WILL be more.
Hopefully many!
And when the right one comes allong you will know it.

It really sucks when it happens but after some time has passed you will be thinking "What the hell was I thinking!?!?"

nitrorube 02.08.2008 05:14 PM

your young and you will find another, when its right it will al work out,you will find a soul mate, until then have fun and im glad you are thinking about buying a gm product,im a american auto worker and im glad there is still people who want to buy american:yes:

JERRY2KONE 02.09.2008 06:06 PM

Yet???

Hey there Racer32 are you over her yet, or do you need a few more hours? Just kidding. We all know how hard it can be to let go when you were not ready to do so yourself. Just remember the train is not stopping while you recover. It just keeps right on barreling down the tracks weather you are on board or not. We all go through rough times and breakups, and we all have to find our way to keep on moving forward. Keep your chin up Man.

suicideneil 02.09.2008 06:24 PM

I think Arnold Rimmer said it best: Love is something created by bank managers to make you over-drawn.

I've never had a bird, but I still enjoy myself (that sounds abit risque doesnt it), and my bank account is all the healthier for it too.

JERRY2KONE 02.09.2008 07:01 PM

Wants???

I have a good friend who sounds just like you. He is very well off $$$$$ and has never had a serious relationship of any kind. I love him like a brother, and it would be great to see him happily married, but he is quite happy to be on his own. If that makes him happy, then so be it. The truth of the matter is that he has seem way to many relationship not just end up in devorce, but the chaos and torture that goes on when they break up scares the hell out of him. He know my first and second wife and he saw how they treated me in the long run, and I do believe that was scary enough to keep him from putting himself out on that type of limb. My fear for him is just what I said about the train. Your either on it, or your watching it go by:lol:. It would suck to be old and barely moving around and realize that you never really knew what love was like:gasp:.

BP-Revo 02.09.2008 07:01 PM

I dunno...I'm 17 and 99% what I think about is RC's, College, or how bad I want a BMW E60 M5 :lol::rofl:

A girl...probably wouldn't be so horrible having one...but whatever...my goal right now is a good college and having fun...and I don't need a girl to have fun.

suicideneil 02.09.2008 07:12 PM

A g/f would be nice, but my problem is they'd get bored very quickly- Im not the most exciting person in the world, to put it mildly, and at my kinda age (24/25), girls crave attention and excitement, and I cant really offer that due to my total lack of personality, and lack of car (real car = girl magnet). One day probably, but Im in no rush.

t-maxxracer32 02.10.2008 12:39 AM

thanks for all the help guys!!

suicide why are you so down on yourself? sounds like you want a girl but are afraid? idk.

so i got a girls number today! yeeee

haha im not going to become a little man slut but im not going to freakin dwell on the past.!

You may lack personality (yeah right!) but you certainly do not lack sarcasm Neil! You have most likely not found the right woman yet. Now you may never find the RIGHT woman, but you may find one that you can live with and enjoy her company sometimes. I did that, and sometimes wonder if it was a good idea. She really loves me, which is nice. She is a very affectionate girl, but has to suffer cause I am an only child, and like my own time and space. We also work together at my business.

I find that I get bored with perople quicker than I bore them. You do not strike me as dumb Neil, so you may share my problem. Most people are like empty bottles, no point bothering yourself with them. And a car is not a girl magent. Good conversation, a quick wit, and willing ear will satisfy most women (at least the ones that are worth your time). Plus at our age (I am 27) some women have their own careers, so the financial drain is not as bad as the younger ones.

Still no replacement for high school girls! "Thats what I like about high school girls, we get older, they stay the same age!"

Tmaxx, good job on getting some numbers! Don't worry about the man slut thing, I won't tell, and Neil is too busy "enjoying himself" to notice!

Sorry i had to quote that one, I love that movie!

BP-Revo 02.10.2008 01:25 AM

Dude, you can never have too many numbers. My male/female ratio of numbers on my phone is not far from 1:1. I think males are in the lead by two (this is counting people my age only).

But yeah, I probably know more females than males...but they are all just friends right now...if one of the relationships with a girl progresses, then thats fine with me, but I'm not going to try to really push for it right now.

Sh*t happens, Life's Short... Have some fun.. single life was fun... :)

JERRY2KONE 02.10.2008 03:40 PM

Life.

You see the point is that there really is no Right or wrong way to live your life:whistle:. Too many people get hung up with what is right or wrong or what is popular. In the end the only thing that really matters is that you can look at yourself in the mirror and feel good about who you are, and the life you lead:yes:. So don't listen to what anyone else tells you. You know what you have to do, and the only one who has the right to judge you is yourself, and God when that time comes, whatever God that may be. Have respect for those you love, but most of all have respect for yourself:angel:. Throughout your life all you have is your selfrespect and your dignity. Nothing else really matters.

lincpimp 02.10.2008 03:49 PM

Hey Jerry you need to get into the greeting card business, your quotes would really sell!

Or maybe self help tapes? Seriously you make a good point about dignity and self respect. A person should also be self promoting, cause no one else will do it for you!

JERRY2KONE 02.10.2008 04:21 PM

Rights.

I would not have the right to do that Linc, since all of my thoughts and phylosophical rasoning came from the many years of experiences and advice I received from other people in my path:angel:. I just listened and tried my best to take it all in and apply what I learned to everything that I do in my life. No one is perfect by any means, and that is a fact, but too many people try to use that phrase as an excuse for shortcutting the things that they know they should be doing. I was a boot camp Drill Instructor for over 5 years and my job was trying to change the lives of young men and women who wanted to be better people. I had to learn how to share the knowledge that was taught to me along the way. I like to think that we all want to do good in our lives, and if I can help in some small way, then I feel it is my responsibility to do so. All I want to do is help out around here. Thanks for the kind words Linc.

dirtyal 02.10.2008 06:38 PM

Just keep your head up man. I had a bad break-up when I was your age too. I thought my life was shot and it would stay that way. I ended up joining the Army and now I'm married with 3 kids. Life is good.

I agree with BP. My '69 Chevy, PSP, and RC's get all my attention. Don't really need a girlfriend to have fun and besides, thats less money for my truck, RC, etc. Only difference is my female/male ratio is more like 5:1 in my phone.

t-maxxracer32 02.10.2008 08:45 PM

If you need help resizing a pic for your avatar, I'm sure someone here will be willing to help you out. You could just attach it in a post and then one of us can DL it, resize it and upload it for you to insert in your avatar.
