sliperential

has anybody seen the pic and description of the slipperential in r/c car action?

suicideneil 02.11.2008 05:36 PM

Nope. What vehicle is it in- sounds like it could be the Novak center slipper conversion kit.

ib4200 02.11.2008 06:51 PM

its on page 180 if anybody was lookin for it...

suicideneil 02.11.2008 07:19 PM

Need a scan of it, nowhere sells it where I live.... boo.

BJE 02.11.2008 07:21 PM

I got that issue on Saturday and I saw it also. It looks awesome. Wonder when it will be for sale in the RCM store?

Neil- its not in a vehicle. They just talked about it and showed an exploded view. I can try to scan the page and post it up.

Here it is Neil. Sorry about the blur, our scanner is kinda crappy.

Edit: when you open it scroll up to see it :)

lincpimp 02.11.2008 07:51 PM

Sweet, the new hyperhacker buggy needs one of these, as will my outrunner revo build!

MTBikerTim 02.11.2008 09:24 PM

So why haven't we heard of this before?

jnev 02.11.2008 09:28 PM

I remember someone on the forum actually had one that Mike made for their custom buggy he converted. Can't remember exactly who though...

squeeforever 02.11.2008 11:01 PM

Cadima (I think he helped design it). And it was a CRT I believe.

BJE 02.11.2008 11:55 PM

Here is the thread with cadima's custom CRT.

His truck has got to be one of the nicest I've ever seen. I cant believe someone stole it. :gasp:

jnev 02.12.2008 12:02 AM

Yep, Cadima was the one I was talking about. Such a shame it got stolen. It was truly a work of art...

Patrick 02.12.2008 12:23 AM

This is a picture of it from page 7 of that thread. Cadima said it is an outdated version, but the concept is still the same.

Pictures of the finished car are on page 20.

I've been looking forward to this thing since I first saw it in cadima's thread.

MTBikerTim 02.12.2008 12:43 AM

Ok so maybe we have heard of it. I have even read threw that thread before and it didn't click that these were the same thing.

captain harlock 02.12.2008 12:47 AM

To think that such an innovative piece of art got stolen after all the working and designing....sometimes I think that people are too ruthless.

rc4x4nut 02.12.2008 08:22 AM

I dont think it got stolen. If I remember correctly cadima was talking to Mike of possibly getting it into production.

rc4x4nut 02.12.2008 08:29 AM

Stolen? I think not.

"Thanks Sower!:o I don't make and sell parts. That's Mike's thing. But I can send Mike the files for any part I use if you want him to make you something. I do have spare parts and would maybe... "

"I don't have time or money to patent this. Technically, I have a year from making it public to patent it anyways. Let's just hope everyone buys from Mike and doesn't support rip-offs that may come.... "

squeeforever 02.12.2008 02:24 PM

No, the CRT was definitely stolen...

ib4200 02.12.2008 04:56 PM

he even says its stolen on the last page

Electric Dave 02.12.2008 05:41 PM

So where are things on the Slipperential front? Is it anywhere near production?

suicideneil 02.12.2008 06:19 PM

The normal slipperrential is just waiting for the center dog bones to be finished up someione said.

Now, that loverly thing on the previous page is the slipperdifferadjusterential... I've been wondering what happended to that in terms of production/release timetable.

ib4200 02.12.2008 10:30 PM

cant wait for it to come out!!!

ib4200 02.20.2008 06:33 PM
