Some Pics of my freshly made Charging Station
 

Just got finished building this. I was sick of trying to get the alligator clips all tied together to work all of my chargers at the same time. So I made this tray that holds all of the chargers and has switches to control them seperately. The larger power supply handles the ICE and the 3 hyperion charges. The mrc runs of its own power supply, and it is switched too so I do not have to unplug the charger from the power supply. All I have to do is plug the two PS in to the wall and I am good to go.

I also added 4mm bullet connectors to the cargers, so that I can remove them seperately and use them in the field if I need to. I also made my lba and eqinox balancer high current capable and bought some universal tap adapter boards from cheapbatterypacks.com. No need to search for adapters anymore, yay!

Only had one isse, while I was air nailing the plywood together a nail must have hit a knot and shot out the side of the board and bounced off my left thumb! Felt like my thumb had been hit by a hammer while resting on an anvil. I must have druised the bone! Oh well, it was worth it!

Got the toolbox from sam's club. It was a good deal so I picked it up, it does double duty for some rc stuff and small gun parts. Plus a few of my specialized tools.

I need to snap a pic of the motors, but I will need to lay them out on the floor and stand on a chair or something to get the frame big enough!

You can really put some stuff to charge all at once with that setup.

I have one of the MRC chargers just like yours. I really do love it. I made a special charge lead with 4 different plugs on it. I only use one at a time of course.

I use it to charge various lithium ion thingies around that I've converted. (Fans, Flashlights, Florescent Lanterns, etc.......) Plus my Lipos of course.

Out of the chargers in your station, Do you have a favorite?

The hyperion chargers are nice, but if could only keep one charger it would be the MRC, it is the most versatile of them all. I really like the ICE, but the 4s max lipo ability really limits it. I use it to charge my trakpower 2s packs in series. The hyperions are great for my uses, I have a few 2200 5s packs that I run in parallel and the hyperion chargers handle charging them at 1c just fine.

Yep, I had 5 packs charging at the sma etime earlier, most were just checking them to make sure that they were not low or out of balance from sitting.

In a perfect world the ICE would have the MRC capabilities and the cool blue backlight of the hyperion. The ICE has the best menus and info of all of them, just wish it would do 5s. Performance wise the ICE and MRC charge identically, but the ICE seems to go a bit faster, not sure why?

aah Sams club had them too then. My wife wouldn't get me one.... Use a fisheye lens to take a pic of all your motors. It still might not be enough huh.

I will stand them on end, with the shafts pointing up! Give me a few minutes, and I will take a pic!

Here are most of the motors that are not installed. I have at least 10 more floating around, and about a dozen more in vehicles.

Which model# is that C50 with the 3.2mm shaft? And how is that kontronik compared to the hacker?

The 1/8" c50 is the c50 maxx. Hacker sold it as an emaxx upgrade for a while. Kv is somewhere around 3100. They never listed specs, but it is a l can with a s length rotor. I have another that will be run in the hyperhacker buggy! We will see if the motor can move an 1/8 buggy around on 4s lipo.

I have not run the kontronik yet. It is 1300 kv and I am not sure what to put it in yet. Plus I have heard that they are not much better than the feigao motors. I have a 1300kv aveox that is similar in size and that may go in the yusa rally on 10s lipo if the 2600 aveox on 4s does not measure up. I really like the aveox motors, and have a xxl size 1100 kv coming for the rcm tranny forward savage I have. Should work on 8s lipo!

The hacker motors are really nicely made and run much cooler with better power output than the feigao. I have a 7xl that is going in the slipperential revo, should be a beast with the 4s trakpower lipos!

Thats crazy!!! You think you can get a picture with all 20 or more of your rc's? Or even just a picture of your rc room with everything in it. I can't even imagine what it looks like...

hey linc, how do your like your kontronik twist?

One of the c50 maxx motors has a sticker, the other does not. The sticker says, c50 maxx 14.4v I guess that one is the 3600 kv?

My rc room is about 600 square feet, and it is always a mess. If I ever get it clean (will be soon, I am adding a tv and stereo) I will snap some pics. Most of my rc fit on a set of shelves that is 8ft wide, 5ft tall and 2 ft deep, it has five shelves, and the cars are stacked up too.

I tried it out on the xxx-cr, it worked fine, but I now have a hacker 540 12s in the buggy, that works better. I may put the twist in a pede or rustler, as I have both without electronics and I have a spare sidewinder hanging around! The novak 5.5r is going in the buggy next, with a 2s trakpower lipo.

That is a very nice portable charging setup you had there. That would be nice to have if I went out to a park for the day!

I do not stray very far from my shop when playing, as I have a baseball field next door, and a park area down the street. I also have quite a few larger parking lots around and streets that are well lit and never busy.

If you think that is porn i need to take some picks of the rest of my stuff! And maybe I will shoot some pics of my shop too. You guys might want to see what I do when i get bored with rc! (happens during the day, I call it"work"!)

After chatting with the flightpower guys, and seeing some of the new trakpower packs, I see some more flightpower products in my future!

nice stuff- i thought i had a problem, you guys are addicted to the good stuff! I can't beleive the money i've spent, and i'm broke. Sure is fun though..:yes:

As soon as I find out who will have the new 3S Trakpower packs first, I'll probably be placing an order for 1 or 2 to go with my others. I love the Trakpower packs and really have a hard time justifying buying any different Lipos so long as I can fit Trakpowers in the vehicle I'm running.

After seeing aqwut's lipos a few months ago, and this now, I feel compelled to show off my high dollar, high power battery charging station. I saved up for months to get this set up, so don't feel bad if you guys can't afford something like this.

Seriously, now I am thinking of selling the whole deal to buy that setup you have. Not that I think you would, but any chance of a trade? I can even throw in the lipos, and the nimh packs too if it will sway your descision.

No way. I use the top of the line charger from walmart and it doesn't come close to yours.
