IBC 3800 batteries

How much will a 14 cells pack of the IBC 3800 cost me? loose cells that is.

captain harlock 08.26.2005 01:08 PM

Hey, Mike, I need some help over here.

C.H.U.D. 08.26.2005 01:54 PM

Looks like $70 for 6 cells (3600) -> http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...I36005s&cat=18

For 3800's I would imagine $0.50 to $1 more per cell.

captain harlock 08.26.2005 02:44 PM

Yes, but I believe the ones that are sold for 70 dollars are ready to use and preassembled.

Hmm. Yeah, its hard to say if they are in fact loose cells. Of course it doesn't describe the style of pack or connector in use...one may infer from that... eh, guess you'll need Mike to respond. :D

rchippie 08.26.2005 04:30 PM

I would also like to know how much two 7 cell packs of the ibc 3800's are loose or assembled ?.

squeeforever 08.26.2005 05:46 PM

mike said for matched loose six cell packs it was 35 dollars.

captain harlock 08.27.2005 02:30 AM

Then, that makes it $85 for 14 cells, I guess?

RC-Monster Mike 08.27.2005 08:02 AM

Sorry for the delay here, guys(though this is a pre-sales topic). The ibc 3800 packs that are listed are matched packs that need to be built. The listed packs are the top line batteries. I can of course get the less expensive matched packs for less $$ (these rae still excellent cells, but with slightly lower voltage and runtime). I can build the packs if need be as well.

captain harlock 08.27.2005 10:10 AM

Well, I surely want the top rated IBC 3800 matched cells unassembled. So Mike, how much will it cost? ( I'm the same guy who sent you the same question via e-mail). I want 14 loose, top rated, matched 3800 cells.

RC-Monster Mike 08.27.2005 10:01 PM

About $75 for each matched 7 cell set of the top rated cells.

captain harlock 08.28.2005 04:49 AM

you told me that you dont have enough instock, so I wonder if its gonna take you a while befor you stock them?

RC-Monster Mike 08.28.2005 09:34 AM

They are already ordered, just haven't arrived(well, I sold out and re-ordered more).

captain harlock 08.28.2005 10:18 AM

How long will it take for the batch to arrive?

RC-Monster Mike 08.28.2005 10:20 AM

Check your e-mail! :)

captain harlock 08.28.2005 10:24 AM

thanks.

captain harlock 08.28.2005 10:30 AM

I'll send you all the info you need tomorrow morning-if God wills so.

captain harlock 08.29.2005 05:26 PM

Mike, have you received my e-mail?

RC-Monster Mike 08.29.2005 07:55 PM

Yep. Replied as well. I do step away from the computer from time to time(you know, bathroom, eat, sleep, play with my r/c cars). :)

captain harlock 08.30.2005 04:11 AM

Ofcourse you do, however, beside the battery packs that I wanted, you did not include the speed controller in the package( its the mgm compro 160A) which is even more important than the batteries.

RC-Monster Mike 08.30.2005 09:14 AM

:) I guess I owe you another e-mail, huh!

captain harlock 08.30.2005 09:47 AM

Well, do you have any news from castle creations on their mamba maxx controller? I'm anxious to get one.

MetalMan 08.30.2005 11:15 AM

I have been in touch with Shawn, and as of yesterday, he said that the electronics portion of the controller are doing "very well so far", but it still needs a case. He can't tell me any more. Guess I will have to wait until those betas get to my door ;).

captain harlock 08.30.2005 12:31 PM

Then its gonna take quite a while I guess? should I rush out and take another controller?( mgm160, 9920??!!)

MetalMan 08.30.2005 12:43 PM

I think you might as well. The Mamba Maxx is at least 4 months off from production.

captain harlock 08.30.2005 02:21 PM

Hmm, I better make my choice. Okay, what do you think of using the 9920 with the lehner 1930/ 5 turn motor? in a B4 that is.

captain harlock 09.04.2005 04:29 PM

Mike, have you received my 3800 competition cells? when are you going to ship them?

RC-Monster Mike 09.04.2005 05:09 PM

I suspect I will have the cells on Tuesday, and will ship them Tuesday or Wednesday. I thought I would have them before the weekend, but it didn't happen. Your cells will be at your door before the weekend comes around again.

nitrostarter 09.04.2005 07:38 PM

Gotta love the fast service!

Any ideas on 9920's status?

RC-Monster Mike 09.04.2005 07:39 PM

2 weeks minimum last I heard. I will talk to BK again tomorrow and check the status again.

rchippie 09.04.2005 07:54 PM

:D
