HAHA!
http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...p/DSCF2075.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...p/DSCF2076.jpg Straightened out the body and it looked better, but the tire is gone! Not sure why it came apart, but it sure was fun playing with it! http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...p/DSCF2077.jpg Some body off pics: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...p/DSCF2078.jpg http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...p/DSCF2079.jpg |
Looks like someone had some fun today!! What happened to that poor body...
|
Yep we need an explanation on that one. That body looks like it has some serious road rash.
|
Well, the constant flips and stunts tore the rear of the body off the posts. I have a bunch of basher bodies, so I said to hell with it and kept playing. I think that the tire let go and took the body with it, then flipped the tuck and twisted it up. Body could do with some repair, but is fine. The tire is gone, but I have more laying around. Really fun truck, 8s power is great, and the temps are good too. Even the feigao 14xl does not get over 160, no matter how hard I bash it. The esc does not go over 120, and the batteries are at 115 or so. Cheap components and they work great together!

A broken body or tire is a small price to pay for fun:smile:

Very wise words. We had a hoot watching this little bugger run! |
Not long ago I broke my 18B as I hit a curb wide open running a mamba set up w/ 2s and the 6800 kit..I broke several front end parts but WOW it was WELL worth $ 20- in parts and 1 hr. of my time to fix
|
nice man... you really beat the crap out of that...
14XL and 8S is just awesome... the body is fine... shoe goo can fix that right up... |

Which ESC did you use in it James?
|
I use shoe goo for everything man.. it dries up clear, and is pretty tough.. I staple the body and shoe goo over it... after 24 hours.. it's awesome... or you could use Super goop or amazing goop..
|
Nice job! You actually got a verbal "Whoa!" from me.

You could probably gust take some gorilla glue and rubber strips, apply glue to the strips, and crudely "tape" the tire together via the inside. I used this method once with a 40 series Road Rage I think and it worked fine.
