RCX pictures

I didn't take that many pictures, since I was mostly asking companies questions and looking at all the awesome stuff there. But feel free to ask me any questions about the show, because I talked to the reps from just about every major company. I'll do my best to remember what they said.

Got to love RC license plates:

I am just in love with this little set up. It is in the Associated booth every year for RCX but it just looks like so much fun to drive on:

Love the 6x4 Baja. Great pics. I saw videos of demos on that track from last year. It was impressive. I want one.

Edit: More pics. Nice pics of mikes booth. Extended crt .5 arms and the fabled sliperential. Nice.

lincpimp 04.21.2008 12:56 AM

Hey, nice pics! Any chance you asked Mike when the slipperential will be released?

jnev 04.21.2008 01:24 AM

I did actually. He said he should be producing them in about a month.

Thanks for the info, this is good to hear!

Mike_D 04.22.2008 02:19 PM

Anyone have a release date for the E-Revo?

Did he happen to mention any estimated price for this little piece of artwork?

jnev 04.22.2008 08:14 PM

He actually did not unfortunately. What he did say though was that he still needs some work on it because at the show, it had a 52 (I think) tooth spur on it, and it said he will be changing it slightly to fit a regular 46t spur to fit most buggies/truggies.

Mike_D - I asked, but they didn't give a definite answer. They were kind of just guessing/estimating...

suicideneil 04.22.2008 08:37 PM

Cool. Im really liking the extended CRT.5 arms- looks much more like truggy. Did anyone ask Mike about the slipperdifferadjusterential, or the centerdiff mount for the gmaxx chassis by any chance?...

aqwut 04.22.2008 08:40 PM

that Baja looks awesome.... Too bad Cali is on the other side of North America for me... else I'd be at all of those events..

BP-Revo 04.22.2008 08:47 PM

Right now it the slipperential has a 50T spur and uses Revo slipper pads. Mike is going to machine his own composite pads in order to make a 46T spur work.

dabid 04.22.2008 08:47 PM

What's up jnev, cool to meet you at the show too!

I really don't like doing it this way, but I did a full writeup of the show over on URC that wound up having well over 300 pics, check it out here, if you would like. I would re-post it here, but it ended up taking 3 separate posts on URC, and it'd take a while. Still, if the demand is there, I'll do it. :)

jnev 04.22.2008 11:59 PM

Good to meet you too man!! It would take too long for me to take that many pictures. Way to lazy... But thanks for the link, there are some great and interesting pictures there.

Hope he still offers the 50t gear, would be great for a truggy conversion, like the hyper st that is sitting in my R/C room!

"Your mother was a hampster, and your father smelt of elderberries!"

"Go now, or I will taunt you a second time!"

My personal favorite line in that movie is when the french guy insults Artur by calling him "the son of a window dresser", great material!

I did not even notice his shirt, guess that shows what team I play for, huh?!

jhautz 04.23.2008 01:33 AM

His shirt???? I didnt notice that either...

It should be fun. I can even try 1000mAh 20S lipos to see how that does. It should make a good 1800W+ system .

all that high voltage for 1800 Watts... you on crack man..

Hey Jze, did you ask them guys at Castle how much that SHV90V weigh?...

Should make the nitro guys pound their heads on the wall all day long trying to figure out how 1000mAh beat them . The goal would be to to make people realize with such a high voltage, you don't need all the heat from low voltage and weight of high mAh batteries. Joe Ford knows what I mean. He has a 12S Trex 450 I think running on something like 400mAh.

Hey David,
