I should be able to go. I'm from Westchester if anyone is wondering; The Barn is about 45-50min. away from me.

-1/10 crt.5
-If I get my truggy done I'll bring that too.

Bye:mdr:

Finnster 05.01.2008 09:39 PM

I will make my best effort to go

BL Revo
CRT .5

Arct1k 05.07.2008 11:28 AM

Hi - Darn - Friends from UK now coming that weekend - does the 8th look better for ppl?

cemetery gates 05.07.2008 04:25 PM

The 8th is fine with me!:yipi:

Electric Dave 05.07.2008 09:35 PM

At this point either the 1st or the 8th looks fine for me. One question, how are you getting the barn NOT to run Nitro on those days?

I've got my E-CRT Truggy and if Traxxas ships them by that date, I'll have an E-Revo.

Arct1k 05.07.2008 10:15 PM

I asked! They are supportive of our breed... If there are enough we can run our own classes - they don't mind.

No silly roar or lipo restrictions but safe lipo handling and charging is expected.

Arct1k 05.17.2008 10:28 PM

Save the date!

Electric Dave 05.18.2008 07:58 AM

Which date?

Arct1k 05.18.2008 08:15 AM

It is in the title - sunday 8th June

Electric Dave 05.18.2008 02:11 PM

Sorry, I remember hearing something about the 1st too and I was confused. No worries, 8th sounds good to me. I doubt I'll have the E-Revo by then so I'll likely only be running the truggy.

highflier 05.18.2008 09:27 PM

Not looking good for me. I blew the rear diff in my truck and everything I need is backordered. Wish Mikes site would allow me to backorder stuff.

Went by Barnstormers over the weekend. Its was closed, but I managed to snap some pics of the track. Looks great and huge. Most of the jumps are toned down from the suicide triple that was made for the RCM Bash in the fall. That jump claimed a lot of broken parts lol.

Bigger Pic of the panorama.
The front is the straightway on the panorama. It is straight lol. The pic merge just gives it a fisheye effect.

I hope I can make it, looks like a ton of fun to drive. They did some upgrades as well. Lights in the back, a dedicated pit lane ramp and a larger track. The surface looks a bit sandier too. Very nice

Electric Dave 05.25.2008 09:47 PM

Can we get a count of who is definitely going to this and what they are running?

I'm willing to go if there are enough electric guys to make it interesting but the Barn is a far ride for me to go and play with the usual Nitro boys...

Count me down as 1 entry into E-Truggy...I doubt the E-Revo will be shipping in time.

cemetery gates 05.25.2008 10:00 PM

I am going. I should have my crt done by that time. I have everything but the motor mount and the truck itself(it's on its way). I have my crt.5 too, but I'm having motor temp problems now:oh:

Bye:mdr:

Arct1k 05.26.2008 03:13 AM

yes I'm going with brushless...

Buggy / truggy / MT and CRT .5

Finnster 05.26.2008 10:14 PM

Planning to go, MT and hopefully CRT.5

Electric Dave 05.27.2008 12:51 PM

Count:

Truggy - 3
1/8th Buggy - 1
MT - 2
CRT.5 - 3

Anyone else?

Arct1k 05.27.2008 01:17 PM

Also had interest in the past from:

KaztheMinotaur
lutach
highflier
emaxxnutt

Come on guys - Show off your stuff - This is only for fun...

KaztheMinotaur 05.27.2008 01:30 PM

Sadly I must pass because it is on the Sabbath.

lutach 05.27.2008 01:58 PM

I won't be able to make it as I have to go to Washington DC on June 4th for a rally about Autism. I still have to see if my daughter will spend the summer with her grandma in Florida and if she does go, I'll have some time alone and I'll be up for a race then.

cemetery gates 05.27.2008 10:31 PM

Hey guys, is this just an electric only race or are nitros allowed? My friend wants to go, and he has a nitro jammin crt.

Thanks!:mdr:

Arct1k 05.27.2008 10:43 PM

There will be the normal nitro crowd and I don't really care who I race against... I just want to hit a track....

Ok, thanks for the heads up!:mdr:

highflier 05.28.2008 06:55 PM

Not looking good for me... my 1 worthy vehicle is down, and Monster Mike is still trying to get all the parts that I need to get it up and running. :(

Highflier

Finnster 05.28.2008 10:37 PM

I hope a few more CRT.5s show up. Its fine w/ me running the Revo w/ nitro MTs (if there are too many these days racing) but it would be very cool to field a BL CRT.5 race.

Arct1k 06.02.2008 10:30 AM

Everyone all set I hope - I should have a MMM this week and just need to pick up a set of arms for my X1CR as smashed one up on Sunday...

RC-Monster Mike 06.02.2008 11:18 AM

I will be there. I will bring a truggy and(maybe) my crt.5 if I can get a few things tweaked on it. :)
Should have your stuff in time, Highflyer. :)

Arct1k 06.02.2008 11:49 AM

Oh god we're stuffed - Mike I think we should limit you to 2s... or an maybe an arm behind your back!

RC-Monster Mike 06.02.2008 11:56 AM

Not really - I have raced about 5 or 6 times in the last 2-3 years, so I am quite rusty these days(and no time to maintain my trucks). I am a shadow of my former racing self. I look forward to getting my butt kicked on the track - I need to race every week in order to get into true form (don't have the raw talent, but practice helps a guy like me). I used to expect to win at the races - now I just hope to make the A-main these days!
:)

 you would do better then me for sure. The last race I was back in the 90's, but it was oval . If I was able to go, you guys would probably ban me from the track for breaking all of the vehicles .

highflier 06.02.2008 05:41 PM

I may have to rethink things. I thought I was not going to go. But now Maybe I will have to. Mike can you define in time, As in I have to build it at the barn?

Highflier

cemetery gates 06.02.2008 06:58 PM

I've got some good news and some bad news. I'll start with the bad; I'm having some over heating problems with my crt.5 so I'm not gonna race that, sorry. The good news is that I have my full size CRT up and running! It'll be easier to race one class anyway.

Bye:mdr:

I'm urgently looking for OFNA 40535 - Set of front arms for X1CR for Sunday.

My LHS let me down - They promised they would get them in for today and didn't.

Pretty please do you have a LHS i could check with that you might be visiting before Sunday?

Thanks

Have you tired xtreme rc addicts?

highflier 06.05.2008 07:32 PM

I hope I will make it to the next barn bash. I got nothing worth running this week :(

I know my LHS has a ton of CRT parts they are clearing out @ 40% off. No idea on that exact part tho (this is the buggy?)
I can look tomorrow or you can give them a call @ hillsboro hobbies They just moved so they may be at this number. Ask for Jay, and tell them Ryan gave you the number. I can pick anything up tomorrow if you want :)

I'm going to grab a set tomorrow for Arct1k, they have some in stock. If anyone else needs any crt part LMK. They have a number of sets of arms, and I think some shock towers, braces, and some other items. IDK know exact part #s and they are non-refundable on clearance, but a good deal for those that need the parts.

Arct1k 06.05.2008 10:50 PM

Thanks Fin! I owe you!
