they just expanded it alot, there gonna start club racing there soon

DRIFT_BUGGY 05.05.2008 01:05 AM

Nice, hope the kids don't get to noisy while playing on the swings and distract you

big greg 05.05.2008 01:09 AM

lol thats the only problem is the kids like to come and watch, doesnt bother me too much tho, until they start asking me to drive my cars lol, yea sure kid heres a 1000$ toy go crash it!

DRIFT_BUGGY 05.05.2008 02:10 AM

lol, didn't think of that, how many of them also go "Do a burnout!" Do a backflip!"

_paralyzed_ 05.05.2008 03:45 AM

we don't have a dewalt chop saw at our track, that's sweet!

big greg 05.05.2008 06:58 AM

lol the saw is for sore losers, there truck gets chopped in half! or for the nitros on general lol

Mike_D 05.05.2008 10:31 AM

Wow that is nice! I wish we could get something like that where i live, most of the tracks here are on private property and only for nitro.

big greg 05.05.2008 12:18 PM

why only nitro? thats crazy they just dont want to get mutilated my brushless!

DickyT 05.05.2008 01:47 PM

I've taken my Neu revo to an "all nitro" track on practice day. They all called me Duracell as i was prepping the truck in the pits. Lot's of onlookers and questions. then I hit the track with it, within 5 laps I had the track layout down pretty well and began killing all but the fastest 1:8 buggies.

I managed to really piss off a guy with a .28 powered mbx5t. he hated that some rookie driven flashlight MT was running on average .75 sec\lap faster that his high dollar truggy.

Most of them are on private property, they usually don't have practice days just race days/weekends.

big greg 05.05.2008 04:09 PM

lol dicky... "duracell" thats hilarious, i dont know why nitro guys are so one sided, i do laugh when i see a nitro guy wasting the whole day tyring to start his truck while im racing the whole time lol

bruce750i 05.05.2008 04:59 PM

Louder dosen't mean it's faster. Nitro fumes may cause brain damage.

aqwut 05.05.2008 05:30 PM

That track is awesome... here's a picture of our local tracks.. too bad we don't have any big jumps...

DRIFT_BUGGY 05.05.2008 06:04 PM

Be nice to have more than 1 track in town

big greg 05.05.2008 09:32 PM

hey thanks aqwut! that big triple... have cleared it almost every time! even with the rusty! i get about 7 foot of air off it! very fun!

Metallover 05.07.2008 09:22 PM

Better hope the kids on their bikes dont wreck it... that's what happens to all the construction sites around my house. These younger kids knocked down a whole stack of plywood and we had a bunch of people going off it with our bikes. I hope nothing like that happens to your nice track...

big greg 05.07.2008 09:59 PM

there keeping an eye on it i hope the same thing tho man

big greg 05.10.2008 09:50 PM

well i went to the track today with my revo, just put the 1515 1y in there, and it does real well, a little more torque than the 7xl on 4s, i couldnt imagine this thing on 5s! but ran really cool for about my whole packs (8000's) esc w/fan 85 motor at its hottest point 115, its undergeared as it is, 24/58 i got a 26 coming, but most importantly i got throgh the whole pack without beaking anything! it was great, but whoever said neus drag the nose down was correct, i didbt think of it till i left, poor rear body tower...

big greg 06.07.2008 10:08 PM

hey guys i just took 2nd in the main, with my revo. only did one qualifier. stripped a diff, had to go get the parts to race in the main, my fastest lap was 34 sec, the 1st guy was 31 sec, his truck is sick tho, hes got alot of money in his rigs, tommorow is another race day tho, hope i can get 30 flat!

I can relate to your thermal issues...31 flat, nice job:mdr:

big greg 06.08.2008 11:30 PM

your thermaling with the 9xl? that sucks, yea i was stoked to hit 31 with a monster truck to boot! the buggy i think went faster but a storm came in to soon to see the results, oh and the best part was the first lap i pulled an 8 foot high front flip! the crowd went nuts. followed by a couple back flips! i was showing off a little but it was worht it!

Fast5sRevo88 06.09.2008 01:12 PM

There is 3 privately owned R/C tracks in my town, 4 if i get done with mine, we formed a club, Southeast R/C Gang, and we use the tracks like a circuit, like Nascar,(we race like Craftsman trucks if u know what i mean, ever heard of "bump" drafting:lol:.) We general race every Saturday night, but we have a "serious" race once a month. We also cook out:intello:, but no beer:drunk: or profanity:no:.
