Do you wear RC Brand Clothing?

Do you wear RC Brand clothing? Weather it be out shopping, at the pub or just at the track?

jnev 05.10.2008 02:31 AM

I laughed when I first saw the thread , but I am also actually kind of curious how many others wear rc brand clothing. I don't have any myself, so I voted NO...

gixxer 05.10.2008 09:05 AM

I do but only the free shirts that you get at some races and stuff to support my lhs.

BlackedOutREVO 05.10.2008 11:07 AM

I do because all my sponsored friends give me the shirts, so I get all the team clothing

t-maxxracer32 05.10.2008 01:16 PM

nope...

i dont want to show off how nerdy i am to the public:party::party:

cemetery gates 05.10.2008 01:40 PM

I do; I have a Mamba Max t-shirt among some other stuff...

Bye:smile:

magman 05.10.2008 03:09 PM

I would if I had some....and it wouldn't bother me to wear it out. Take pride in what you love to do...if no one else likes it too bad for them. If they have to ask, they wouldn't get it anyway:rofl:

glassdoctor 05.10.2008 03:26 PM

Sometimes... some of the shirts are pretty cool, lke any other screen print logo T you see out there. Bu the cheezy toy car pic track shirts can stay at home, lol

johnrobholmes 05.10.2008 04:44 PM

Yes. Wearing one right now (Mamba). Over half of my t-shirts are either factory, personal, or event shirts. I have a lot of event shirts.

BrianG 05.10.2008 05:22 PM

I would if they were free. Otherwise, why should I buy a shirt to advertise for a company when most companies pay good money for advertising.

notnodak 05.10.2008 05:43 PM

If I had access to $10 T's or $15 sweatshirts I waer then all over.

Nerd Pride Rules

They should add one to every order and see how sales are in one year. It makes a difference to get people to wear your stuff. It has to be super cool though, no toy stuff.

Duster_360 05.11.2008 11:19 AM

Voted no also. Free advertising - I won't let car dealer put dealership sticker on a car I'm buying for the same reason. Someone wants to make tees available cheap that has their advertising, would consider it, but not for full price.

Mike_D 05.11.2008 11:30 AM

I do sometimes. I have lots of free t-shirts from events, races and hobby shops that i've been to as well as some that i have paid for. I see no difference in wearing a favorite sports team logo shirt/clothing or any other branded clothing including RC.

glassdoctor 05.11.2008 11:48 AM

Exactly. Most t-shirts people wear are this type of "free" advertising. You buy a shirt (Adidas, Nike, NASCAR, NFL....) because you like it, not because they give it to you or pay you to wear it. Not only that, but people pay a lot $$ for the brand shirts.

What Maxamps does is very cool... they sell their shirts very cheap, basically at cost... $5.00.

I think that's a good idea for r/c companies. Even if there is a little profit on them, imo make it a good deal. Some companies have their stuff priced like a Nike shirt. Even $10 would be a fair price and help pay for some other promo stuff, etc.

fromdaboz707 05.11.2008 01:14 PM

i got one that says my monster truck is faster than your monster truck

BP-Revo 05.11.2008 01:35 PM

The only one I have and wear is my RC-Monster shirt I got from Mike at RCX.

pipeous 05.11.2008 02:13 PM

I voted no then realized I do wear a baseball cap with the WCORCS Finals printed on it. That was from the first year before it changed the name to CORCS.

Mike_D 05.11.2008 03:41 PM

I would definitly pay full price for an RC-Monster t-shirt. How does one go about getting one?

Got a photo at all?

jhautz 05.11.2008 06:09 PM

I have a few event t-shirts and misc stuff I got from here and there. I voted no cuz I dont really wear them out anywhere. (not even the track really), but I do where them around the house for bumming around or sleeping. Thats about it.

I wouldn't buy one, I just have the ones that come to me for free.

Although... I would probably wear a RC-Monster t-shirt to the track if I had one.

dezfan 05.11.2008 10:11 PM

I voted no because they don't usually come in FAT BOY sizes!
