i have been looking at getting a 6 cell lipo for my revo. i found this one on hobbycity online. its a zippy lipo pack. 6cell 4000mah 25c.

just wondering if it would be a good battery pack to get. i was reading some of the reviews on the other zippy packs and people do like them. one guy even ran it in his vxl and he said it was great.

it would be 150$ shipped to me.

I did order few lipo at hobbycity
, the guy @ hobbycity does have a odd reputation, hate it or love it.
But he really does have some very good lipo at unmatchable price.

actually all of the Zippys cells are chinese except fro the "R" cells, they are the korean cells

Ok my bad, Confusion between R and K

How do you like the K cells? I was looking into buying 2 of those to run my buggy and run 4s in a stampede and revo. Would they do good in those? Will it fit where a 6 cell nimh can?

I have just ordered this pack, I have yet to run it yet though I am hoping it will come close to my FP packs

Oh and another question is will these fit in my Tamiya TL-01 chassis? It has round edges on the battery slot... I know Orion/peak carbon 3200 packs and all yeah racing packs fit but they have rounded edges...

I have there 5s 4000mah, held over 4300 on first charge, holds voltage welll and im getting about 45mins of runtime on my Raze

Worth $80 to get twins? Will do well in a revo as 4s?

depending on your esc 6s would be better

is it better to Parallel two 6s lipos or to Series two 3s Lipos...assuming you have equal Mah and weight- which is better for performance and/or life of battery over time?

Well I am running a MM so I don't want to use more than 4s...

Assuming the discharge rate on both setups are exactly the same, two 3s in series would be better because there are less cells which means less chance you get a dodgy cell, also less connections = less resistance and it would be harder to keep the 12 cells in balance as opposed to the 6 cells.

so should i buy one big 6 cell lipo or 2 3 cell lipos? cause im going to be ordering the zippy lipos packs next week.

Are you running a Gorrila chassis or Revo conver? For the Gorrilla, go with 2 packs to balance it out...

im running a revo chassis but wanted to convert to a gorilla later on.

if you have a charger that can charge a 6s pack and you wouldnt use 3s packs in other RCs I would go with the 6s

i have the hyperion charger and it does up to 6 cell lipos. and i dont think im going to go g3r any more. so i think next week i well be ordering the 6 cell zippy pack. i was kinda worried about buying it and then it like puffing on me or even low voltage. (even tought i know how to get around that.) but that 3 month warrenty kinda helps lol.

I just got a bunch of these cells and I think it's worth mentioning that the 10 gauge wires come out in the wrong spot for some battery trays. I know it didn't fit my MF2 or EMBX5. I ended up soldering new wires in the opposite direction and feeding them over the top of the battery. I can't wait to try them, and will order more if they perform well.

i ordered the 6cell 4000mah 25c battery. it should be here by thursday and my truck is just waiting for the battery. i cant wait!

mine took about 10 days to ship

it said about 3-5 days and they already shipped it today.

they ship from China and I used the priority mail and they charged me about $14 unless you went with a more expensive option

yah i went with the ems mail thingy. it was like 25$ for shipping and said it would take 3-5 days.

ok i might be getting my lipo tomorrow. i checked the tracking number and it said its already in the us and is ready to be delivered.

Anyone have some good strong tests on these zippys? I am trying to decide between these, proteks, or yeah racings for my revo... Running 4s, MM ,3500kv mega, 14/40 with close ratio

i used mine for like 5 mins lol but for those 5mins it put out some amazing power lol.

yah it was a 6s.

its currently for sale if you want to buy it. you could cut it down to a 4 cell and then sell the other 2 cells lol.

Why don't you want it?

a few reasons

1-fried the motor that was on the revo. over heated it.
2-decided that i dont want to finish the revo (needed a motor and esc cause the esc i had did not make enought amps any motor besides a 600l )
3-i want to try something new. - rock crawling. lol

So your selling all of your stuff or what? How long did you run the pack and how many times? How much do you want for it?

I just recieved this one but have not had a chance to run it as of yet. The iCharger 106B that I ordered with it decided not to work so I have to send it back for an exchange. I will post my thoughts on this lipo when I get a chance to run it.

let us know how it performs! i cant wait to buy one, and that way if it gets damaged then its not as big of a deal. how do they compare to true enderland cells?

Yes please let me know how it does since I might get one... I am still in the mix between zippy, protek, yeah racing, and now maybe even a123 since I found a place that sells them relatively cheap.

yah im selling the revo and lipo. i just sold the revo and still have the lipo i only ran the pack for like 5mins and after that charged it back up so it would not go under 19volts. its in great condition. i well pm you a price
