More motors Hacker & FDM F/S!
I got these as a lot planning on using them. I need to sell as much off as I can to get me through a real slow month here. All have been bench tested and work well. The FDM comes with a factory flat spot, the Hackers all have a little ground spot. No connectors or mounting screws are included. There are 7 motors total in this thread, I'll post one at a time so stay tuned. PM for pricing.
First is a Hacker B50 7XL http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/DSC_0013.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/DSC_0014.jpg http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...8/DSC_0015.jpg |

All of these came from boats and have never seen dirt. I'm asking less than 1/3 of the new price from Hacker:yes:
|
I saw your thread on rct about these and the reason your not getting offers is because your asking to much.
|
I think they are good prices for hacker motors. These aren't feigao junk. I think most people see XL or L can and associate them with feigao but hacker is on par with neu except for being only 2 pole.
|
They still seemed a little high but they'll definately get sold here on rcm for sure.
|
I tried to explain the Hackers a bit (on RcTech), not sure it worked. These are leagues of order better than Feigaos. I don't know what to price them at, I thought I was fair?? Maybe I'll open up to offers.
|
What size car are the B50 size motors for? Would they be more for 1/10 stadium truck size? Or would they work for 1/8 size (buggy, truggy, MT)? I was thinking the C50 series motors was for the bigger rc's...
Don't know too much about Hackers, so someone please explain the size ratings. |
The B50 is standard 540 size (36mm) but smooth can. The C series has the finned can. The XL are 75mm long, you bet they could be used in 1/8th vehicles.

Guys, his prices are damn good. If I needed any motors I would be all over these.
Hacker b50 series motors are good motors. They produce more power and run cooler than the feigaos with comparable specs. As long as the bearings and windings are in good shape, they will all be good buys. The c50 motors are better, but larger in diameter. I would say the b50 motors are a step or two below neu motors, but about 8 steps above a feigao. They are comparable to a mega or a medusa v2. The c50 motors are comparable to the neu motors. Just holding a hacker motor in your hand, you can see and feel the difference in quality and material usage over a feigao. |
agreed on the prices. If I had the cash I woulda jumped, but the wifey said NO. :(. I think Linc should fund a poor mans RC addiction :P. I can trade banana's!

If I had the cash right now, I would buy at least two of them. Most guys haven't been around long enough to remember when the hackers were the "it" motor for monster trucks and such back before 1/8th conversions were even being thought of. Most everyone I knew of 5 years ago ran hacker and a few ran lehner.

Thanks guys for the kind words.
Linc; I thought the C50 was the same as a B50 except with a finned can. Kind of like a Neu S vs F. Is that not true? I've never owned a c50 to compare. |

They are maily designed for helis, save for the c50 maxx motors, which are l cans, with a s can length magnet. The c50 maxx motor appears to have the same windings as a 13l c50, the shorter magnet raises the kv. I currently have 1 c50 maxx, and 1 each of the following l cans: 6,8,13,14. I have been looking to try a c50 xl, I have a feeling it would be comparable to a 1521... |
I know we can't discuss prices, but I hope this is okay so I don't have to reply to a million PMs. I'm dropping the price $10 on each motor. Those of you that allready contacted me know where I'm at, new inquiries PM me please.
Mods, if you don't view this as kosher let me know and I'll edit. |
pm at you
