normal repair time?

well i was just wondering how long it would normaly take for a MM to come back from repairs?
i know they are busy with all the MMM problems but i sent in my mamba max 2 months ago and was expecting it back by now, i now have a whole brushless system and truck minus the ESC :(

You need to call them or send them an email.

I sent in a Mamba Max and a Sidewinder approximately 6-7 weeks ago and have not heard back. I was told the repair time is "4 weeks" which has passed at this point. They also have my mamba monster. I hope they come back soon.

they have my 5700 combo, a micro motor and another esc.... so i got the most stuff missing, do i win now! LOL. i sent it via slow international mail (3 weeks) on the 9th of june...) o well... at least i cant use it yet anyway... ring them if you can. for me its near impossible to do so though.

azjc 07.23.2008 03:13 AM

if the time has passed I would get in contact with CC, sometimes communication gets lost...remember we are humans here and not machines.....

rcsammy 07.23.2008 06:38 AM

i did send them an email about a week ago and they said
" From what I can see it has not come back from the repair floor. Repairs are running behind but we will get it back as soon as we can."

i guess i will just keep waiting, what postage service do they send them back with?

tc3_racer_001 07.23.2008 07:50 AM

o minbe was supposedly sent off again, but i still ahvent got a quote or details to pay them yet! so i dont see how they could have shipped it back again... unless they were feeling extra generous!

On the castle support page theres a whole paragraph dedicated to your question:

Quote:

We will send you a tracking card and/or email noting that we have received your repair. If you do not receive a tracking card/email within ten working days from the date you sent your return in, please contact our Repair Department.

tc3_racer_001 07.29.2008 06:44 AM

HOW DO I PAY! can i pay over the web or what? they sent me an invoice but how do i pay for the bloody repair job. i cant see where to pay on their site and i dont want to do it over the phone if i can help it at all...

Sammus 07.29.2008 06:55 AM

Could send your details via email, or email them and ask if they will do paypal. Apart from that I think the phone is the only way short of sending a money order. In the past when I knew it was my fault, I just sent a money order with the esc, you could probably still post a money order over there, more waiting though.

rcsammy 07.29.2008 09:54 AM

still havnt hearc anything about mine, havnt had a reply to my email yet
i have no confirmation that they even have my MM as the email i put down on the repair form no longer works so i cant receive any emails from them

DwightSchrute 07.29.2008 11:39 AM

keeping in mind i knew they were behind with the monster production issues, i didn't expect a quick turnaround....i was pleasently suprised.
i sent in a MM about june 10, and got it back just over a month later...i got it july 12 or 13th, i think. i followed up alot though. when it was around the 4 week point, i called every other day to find out what dates they were working on.

btw...it works great now. they are class acts over there. fast and friendly.

I sent in an MM myself and recieved a replacement in about 2 weeks+/- I talked with a few of the techs and had an email with or two with Misty. The replacement has been great and the orginal issue I suppose could have been user error on my behalf. I'm happy with them and their service.

rcsammy 08.06.2008 03:02 PM

im not happy with their service at all
i have now sent 2 emails to them and havnt received any replies or my MM!

jnev 08.06.2008 04:21 PM

If you have a question about warranty it is better to call them. Their warranty for me has been nothing short of perfect.

rcsammy 08.06.2008 06:17 PM

i would call them but im in england so the phone bill would be very expensive although it looks like i may have to soon

Robert 08.06.2008 07:00 PM

Buya phone card. It cost you a couple dollars is all.

rcsammy 08.28.2008 05:13 AM

i got an email back from them so didnt need to ring
they said it would be here in 2 weeks... 3 weeks ago
geting fed up now

tc3_racer_001 08.28.2008 05:49 AM

dude, time to invest in skype, o wow, like $10.

thats what ive done, dunn oabout you but because im on the opposite to them pretty much i either have to all them really early ni the morning (like 4, which is impractical) or stay up to like 11 which is also impractical. i just woke up really early when i need to call them, and at 10c / minute its not much. but i agree, and their emails seem eratic, they have always taken 2-3 days to reply but the usually always do.

i got an email from them saying that they have shipped something express (one of my repair parcels im hoping) but usually its not via express. i will update when i recieve it!)
