I have a MaxAmps 4s 6000. What are the dimensions of your pack?
Are you sure it's an "r" pack, the only 3300's I can find are the "H" cells

cornolio 08.23.2008 07:50 PM

Used it maybe 10 times in my 8xl/mm Inferno. Now everything I run is 5s

cornolio 08.23.2008 08:08 PM

did you have any temp problems?ive read a lot of maxamps horror stories.ill run it on a truggy on neu 1515 1y.do you think itll work?i just wasted my money on a true rc 4s pack that quit after 7 mins so please give an honest opinion.thanks

gimpygolden 08.23.2008 09:17 PM

As long as your gearing is reasonable I think you'd be OK. The Maxamps do have a bad reputation for there C ratings being exaggerated. I honestly never ran this pack long enough to see any probs I guess, never temp'd it but didn't feel overly hot.

Maybe do a little searching on Maxamps

What are the dimmensions?

cornolio 08.24.2008 12:09 AM

dimensions are:

L155mm W44mm H44mm

thanks

gimpygolden 08.24.2008 10:42 AM

Awwwwwww, I was hopin' it would fit my 144mm tray for some speed runs. How long would an 8xl (finned can) last on 6s(46,265rpm) anyway?

Would have netted 75mph, if the motor lasted to full rev.

gimpygolden 08.24.2008 10:43 AM

If your still interested in my pack PM for a price.

cornolio 08.24.2008 06:02 PM

any other offers?just to be crystal clear, the pack that swelled is not the one up for trade.this 6s works perfect.i really naad a 4s pack asap.thanks

brushlessboy16 08.24.2008 06:05 PM

cornolio 08.24.2008 06:12 PM

what brand,c rating?thanks

83gt 08.25.2008 07:30 AM

What's the story on the 4s ? That's the first trouble I've heard from TrueRC. Can you contact TrueRC? He might could help you out.

I have a 4s2p 8000 from TrueRC that's taken some serious abuse and shows no ill effects.

i got the truerc 4s 5000mah used, they swelled after just 7 mins at the track.ive been using kokam cells, zippy r and cheap fleabay packs with no problems at all.didnt balance the kokam cells for around 8 months but they still do great.but the best performer has been my 2 fleabay 2s 8000mah 12c packs(run in series)they pack a lot of punch and dont even get warm.
