Very nice. My slash is for sale now and i want to buy exactly the same buggy. I have a deal for a used one for $120.00. Not as clean as your's but.....

I'll put my 1512, 1.5d in it on 4 or 5s lipo.

Nice looking work area you have Joe. I like the double 2 and 2.5mm losi drivers. Best drivers out there, IMO.

You will love the handling on the hyper8. I really like mine, sold all of the other buggies I had.

Thanks - I spend a lot of time in my workshop
The buggy should be ready by this weekend. I hope to get the ESC and motor mounted up tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted of my progress.

Ive watched the Hyper 8's on the track and they are downright awesome. Id like to upgrade to a 8 from my Hyper 7 someday...

Believe it or not the tires worked well. It rained the night before so the traction on the track was good. A lot of guys who were running pin tires were turning them into slicks with all the dirt that got caked up in them. The stock Ofna tires worked well but I can see that they wore out very quickly. I am going to pick up a pair of Crime Fighters for this weekend.

Yep - Northern NJ
I work for a hobbyshop and we just built the track this past summer. The track is in West Paterson, NJ

Those pics are sweet, they look like they should be in a r/c calender or magazine center-fold for us gear heads to drool over.

TheRandom1 11.02.2008 07:12 PM

Wow that is damn nice, I love the action shots!

nitro_joe 11.03.2008 10:40 AM

One of my buddies just finished converting his Sportwerks Turmoil to brushless so there were some more buggies on the track this weekend..
