You can't just tease us with that speed and not tell us what you got under the hood! :D

Serum 12.04.2005 04:46 AM

maxd-out, thanks for joining.

I read some things about that truck, cant remember what or where.

I just remember that is was bare stock, right?

pity Promod isn't here, he has got to the 70mph with his truck.

Its a small small world. I race with Maxd Out :)

I was also at the speed run. Done in a area around 300meters long, slowign the truck down caused it to spin (super doughnuts!)

That same day I blew the doors off a blown Revo with my Mini-T

I won't spoil it for Maxd Out - He can give you the Maxx specs

I just put some new diff gears in my dual BL Tank (aka fat Maxx) last night. I'll try and get a top speed on it over the next few days and report back.

Maxd out,
where did you get these tires? How did they hold up?
Thanks.

Serum 12.08.2005 04:43 PM

Looks like it are GPM slicks..

maxd out 12.08.2005 09:13 PM

the hacker is a standard C50 L although Hacker has made us a special modified motor built for the next speed run.
The tires are Panther slicks showen in the photo ,these tire's are totally unpredictable at high speeds (Razor Blades) During the testing of these tire's the truck was sent into the air @ 94kph . the 106kph run were on the IMEX foams ,but these also have to be glued as they peel off the rim @ 125kph (FREAkIN SCARY)
The twin mill shown in this photo was the truck that took to the air

What's the two small things in the front wheels??? I must be tripping - because they look like 2 cells to me?? -lol-

coolhandcountry 12.08.2005 10:06 PM

have you ever tried the duct tape on the inside of the tire. I have tried this and it really helps with tire swelling.

Those are the pivot balls/wheelhubs/axle carriers/knuckles, I still have not found out the exact name for these things, everyone calls them differently.

danhfvcsd 12.08.2005 10:21 PM

mann - i have to see it with the rim off - they still look like 2 small cells to me hey -lmao-

Serum 12.09.2005 02:42 AM

Duct tape would help you out..

Check out my site, under balloon experiment..

Dafni 12.09.2005 02:50 AM

How about this red gearcover on the tranny on your dual maxx...I have never seen an aftermarket gear cover !?

maxd out 12.09.2005 06:47 AM

1 Attachment(s)
Knuckels are made dy RPM,they are white in colour but the blue rim makes them look blue, the things that look like cells are a aftermarket pillow ball retainers made by traxxas blue in colour, the red gear cover on the twin mill has been air brushed with a metalic candy red .
ive found that having no ballooning in the tires makes for a more stable truck. the IMEX Foams are also very light .
32/170 esc is pictured next to a mini t

captain harlock 12.09.2005 07:59 AM

the 36150 would be almost just as good with a small size. ( or was it 32150? cant really remember).

Serum 12.09.2005 11:47 AM

Amen Harlock.. ;)

Promod 12.09.2005 11:53 AM

I had a 32/170 and never used it. The darn thing was just to big.
A 36120 or even a 3695 would easy get the job done.
Thank you,
Promod

Serum 12.09.2005 11:59 AM

In fact, if you are able to make it float, and you've got a private island.. Playa del schulze...

Sneeck 12.09.2005 01:23 PM
