Well...he musta changed it. It used to have a witty remark about the scary reality of the intelligence levels (or lack thereof) for certain pockets of our society.

Despite what you may think...some have special needs for considerable guidance and oversight...even when it comes to applying locktite to wheel nuts.

But yeah, its amazing how unhelpful some of the suggestions can be given how simple the questions some people used to ask are. That said, given the average IQ over there is simliar to my shoe size, I think educational videos like that have some use, to certain people.

There was a very useful bit of information in that video and using loctite isn't that self explanatory (unless of course you read the directions). I think the most common mistake I have seen with people using loctite is how much they put on. Ever try to disassemble a factory assembled alloy diff from cen. They soak their screw in red loctite before installation.

I have seen cars and helicopters where people have used loctite like wood glue (pva). It's not pretty especially when all the screw heads are stripped.

YESSSSS I had to rebuild my matrix's diff. Stripped 3 of 4 screws

Is it just me or are more N3wbs becoming arrogant to people that are being nice and trying to help? About a year ago i was at the local drag strip with my dad with my(at the time) outrunner powered duratrax raze- there was some kid there with a old-tired-run down-rich running savage 21 that was barely moving- couldnt even push into 3rd gear. his dad was a total wanna be, came over looked at my car and tried to tell me everything that i already knew... He was trying to show off forhis son or what not and was totaly wrong in every aspect of the word. by time i was done talking to him i had basically outwitted him andproved that he had no knowledge of rc....(he sure did make it sound like he was right:lol:)I guess that thepoint im trying to get at is that if you want help-dont be arrogant to the person is trying to help you.. its just rude and really makes you look like a dick...

I did go into great detail about the differences between series vs parrallel, so much so that I had to write a FAQ and 3 tutorials with in deoth info and explanations, and whole sections on the cursed V-twin and all that crap. Cant hold me responcible for morons who dont/cant understand what they were basically spoon-fed (repeatedly), I just taught them how to build a dual BL setup for use with lipos, safely.

Alot of noobs do take offence at being offered help though, they just want instant answers and dont want to go through the learning process like most other people had to in order to become an old pro like myself *cough cough* :wink:

Agreed though, a lot of newcomers (but not all) need to learn how to be humble. They've just come into this hobby, and aren't going to learn a blind thing if they can't swallow their egos and actually *listen* to RC veterans who try to give friendly advice.

Thank you Brushlessboy16!!!!!!!, without your post and that video i would have never firgured it out. i tried everything from rubbing it on the tires to coating the outside of the nut, who would have figured that you put in inside the nut on the threads....weird.

no unslow was the first to post a picture on the traxxas forum...HE IS CLEARLY THE SOLE CREATOR. and NOONE had that idea...EVER:lol:

not just a parallel harness, it has the unslow flux capacitor in it too :lol:
