Lets talk caps here

So I have my LRP TC sphere. And the normal cap is on some stiff ass wires. LOL and its really hard to keep it neat and out of the way on the chassis

Its attached to a different port on the speedo, and im wondering if I can put in on the pos/neg posts like Tekin does and have the same affect? Or would that not work?

Thanks:mdr:

Wise man say, picture worth thousand words....

And BrianG say:

The main thing I was getting at was that a good picture of the naked esc would show where the 'other port' leads to/ is connected to internally or externally, and thus a decision could be made as to whether the cap could be relocated, or whether it would be better to just shorten/replace the flyleads to the cap. As it is, the shorter the flyleads, the better...

Holy crappy spelling Batman!

Wise man say neil need firefox as to help him spell check before posting! :intello:

But in a word, pictures would be mighty helpful in this small endeavor.

BL_RV0 12.22.2008 01:37 PM

That was more than a word.

What's_nitro? 12.22.2008 08:48 PM

You can just attach the new capacitor to the main battery leads. The stock one is probably using the capacitor's leads as a hook-up, which are solid wire, so that would make it very stiff. Maybe you can just extend those leads so that it can be relocated out of the way.(?)

BL_RV0 12.23.2008 02:15 PM

suicideneil 12.23.2008 02:24 PM

{If at first you dont succeed, try, try again...}

There is nothing wrong with my spelling or grammar (I was drunk the first time (yes, on a monday night too), and the second time was deliberate to see if you were all paying attention- I swear).

What's_nitro? 12.23.2008 02:26 PM

Oh sure, sure. You could have just said you were drunk both times, you know.

BrianG 12.23.2008 02:55 PM

Or, would it be easier to state when you aren't drunk?

suicideneil 12.23.2008 03:06 PM

It's christmas man, tis the season to to be merry! (I already have one bottle of Baileys that Im working my way through, and another is waiting for me- why wait till the 25th?) :mdr:

What's_nitro? 12.23.2008 09:57 PM

Oo I'm jealous! Baileys is sooo good. It really doesn't taste like alcohol so I have to have someone else watch how much I drink.

A RC Dude 12.23.2008 11:13 PM
