I'm from Vermont.

Next Wednesday (Jan 31st), I plan on going down to RC Excitement in Mass to use their indoor track and pick up a few things. You guys should come on out.

I used to live in Maine (moved in 2001 for work).

Nice collection! Just need to convert that last stinky nitro buggy!

BL_RV0 12.24.2008 12:25 PM

Looking great! I really like the braided hose on the motor wires.

*entranced* Shiny objects...

tmaxxdaddy 12.25.2008 11:10 PM

Thanks, The motor wires had gotten dirty and everything else was so "shiny", I had to do something.
Once I started with the aluminum, I found I couldn't stop myself. The rear rockers had to stay stock (to use the sway bar) as well as the rear body mount (for the wing).

The Rusty only needs the Chassis to be complete But I like the esc mount placement, and would want a "shiny" battery box if I were to get the FLM chassis ( I'm not sure lexan will protect my lipo as I have punctured the stock one twice already)

thats a nice revo, I hate revos.. I dont know why, maybe I was beaten with 1 as a child, but if I was to have a revo thats the dog right there, nice job

BL_RV0 12.26.2008 01:36 PM

Is it possible to get that braided hose in black?

tmaxxdaddy 12.26.2008 03:39 PM

I have not seen it....This is Integy's stainless fuel line that I took the fuel line out of.

BrianG 12.26.2008 03:47 PM

Here's is where I used to get sleeving back when I modded computers: http://www.crazypc.com/products/case...le_sleeves.htm

And heatshrink to go with it (keeps the ends from fraying): http://www.crazypc.com/products/heat_shrink.html

But honestly, the sleeving has lots of little holes for dirt to get in, and it's a PITA to clean. Good for shelf queen, but not for actual use IMO...

BL_RV0 12.26.2008 03:55 PM

Thanks for the link. I may buy some in the future.
