DAM!
Is there even room in the trucks to put that thing? And i thought the MMM was big |
I like the mounting tab on the side of the ESC. It would have been great if Castle put some like that when they molded the cases.
But yeah, it's huge and so is your picture :). |
how lovely fan. thats what offroad cars really need :)
George16: get a bigger screen  e-mike : forum pictures should not really be larger than 800x600. they load up slow and not everyone has 24" screen :diablo: |

Holy hell! I thought the MMM was big...
|
Wow. Big.
|
It looks stout. How does it compare all around to the MMM?
|
Were did you buy the esc from? I am interested in it but cant find out were to buy it.
|
I look forward to some objective side by side testing with the MMM- an eagle tree would be a good thing to have, as would a temp gun and a stop watch.
**in the red corner, weighing in at 150amps continuous is the new boy from china, and in the blue corner, weighing in at 120amps, or 200 if you blow on it a bit, the 3 times re-born saviour of large scale rc from America...** |

Hobbywing doesn't sell them directly to end customers.
eBay seems to have few... I'm tempted... ESC only Combo with 2350kv motor (36mm x74mm) & program card |
:oh: Just slap some wheels right on the ESC. Who needs a chassis with an ESC that big. lol
|
Not to take anything away from lutach's esc, but comparitively the hobbywing aint so big:lol:
also shrink this darn pic! |
CRAP!!!!!!!!!:grrrrrr:i can't apply a very low trottle,,,a big cogging appear at mid trottle and my motor come really hot!!!!!!!i try every setting as possible ans nothing to do....not smooth like a mmm... o yes....

e-mike, I found your MMM has motor wires soldered directly to the board, does it come that way or you mod it?
Mine has battery wires soldered and femail bullets for motor. |

what pwm-setting did you try? i experienced that w. a higher pwm coggin disappears, just like timing. first put the pwm higher, then try different timings, I use eg. 7deg. for a two pole, as long temp. is ok. The cables/wires aren't too long?
what I've read about the small ezruns it seems that at least these esc's are quite ok. I dunno if that helps, just a try. I like the three big 1000er caps, that looks solid. size DOES matter... |

did you take off the green ring of the esc that come around the receiver plug of the esc??
donīt do it... this ring is like a magnet to prevent magnetic interferences on the car... brushless motors produces alot of magnetic field and mine 150a hobbywing was doing that until i put that green ring with the wire around it again.. regards |
did you buy the program card with it
|
are you serious about spending 245 in that combo instead of buying a MMM combo for 260??
|
I have tried mine today on my EIGHT-T, not bad but not as smooth as the MMM.
