That would be a nice alternative for those of us with Pro truck (1/10 st with high mah 2s packs) type setups as well, I currently run a maxamps 8000 right now

With 2 8600 batts wired together.....your arm will get tired before the batts run out!

FWIW, a pair of 4S 25C 3700mAh packs will fit, giving you 4S 25C 7400mAh. It's not like SMC is doing something that is leaps and bounds ahead of what's already available.

A pair of 3700mAh 4S packs is $338. Is it really that much more attractive with the SMC's being more expensive, heavier and only 1200mAh more capacity?

E-fanatic 01.11.2009 04:05 PM

Well, I now know what batteries I will be buying next for my e-revo. I am in the market for some ,so this is perfect. Will Monster Mike be selling them? 8600mah would be great and an answer to one of my prayers:yes: :yipi:

Ummmm $125 + $125 is $250 is it not? Thats almost 90 bucks cheaper for 1200 more mah and a perfect fit .... Not saying your way isnt any good but im gonna be trying the smc's for sure

My fault...I fat fingered my response. It's $238, not $338. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by perfect fit. My 3700's fit fine in the E-Revo battery compartments and are available now. Why wait on SMC when one of the world's best lipo cell manufacturers already makes packs that fit?

Dragonfueled 01.12.2009 09:01 PM

Ah ok that's a better price LOL. What cells are you using

PolyRC 4S 25C 3700mAh

I haven't used them in my E-Revo yet, but I do know they fit. That was the first thing I did when I got the truck was to check fitment of the 4S 3700mAh pack and to check to verify fitment of my Neu 3S 25C 4900mAh packs.

Carraig042 01.13.2009 01:57 PM

Even cheaper but less capacity is Neu 4s 3200 25c packs for about $160 for two. Plenty long run-times for me!

Actually they're $89ea, so it'd be $178 + $6 shipping, so $184 shipped. Still a good price though. But for $196, you can get a pair of 4S 25C 3900's from Neu (4S 25C 7800mAh).

BL-revo 02.01.2009 02:57 PM

hi, where can you get these new 4s packs from?
