yeah I saw that earlier.

He says he's never gonna rev the motor again like that without any load but does it again on pg 2 and makes a vid of it. What an idiot.
|
CC should require prospective buyers to take an IQ these, and get an IQ score > 1, before selling their products.
|
I was banned from the forums. Must be another idiot acting smart.

Oh my effin lord. How much stupider can you get?!
|
exactly why I got banned. uninformed people. In hindsight, it's not my job to inform them, but when I tried they lashed out at me and told me i was the problem maker. So I went out throwing all the insults and expletives I could. Childish, really. It was fun, but now I'm left wanting to read what the idiot wrote. Oh wells
|
Fooking nora...
Glad Im banned actually, I would have balled that retard out for risking killing a ~$300 motor... and got myself banned anyway. |

HAHA same situation for me. Anyone wanna post this guys post...or will it makes all of our IQ's lower....j. |
Here's the video:
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v4...t=MOV00017.flv I'll upload the text file to rapidshare of something.... |
Yup.. I'm a good boy, and don't get banned...
You're welcome.. http://rapidshare.com/files/18564933...Parts.rar.html It's kind of hard to read... Ctrl+A Then Ctrl+C Then Ctrl+V I think I'm pooped. EDIT: BTW, just one more line before I hit my table with my forehead, you'll need WinRar, or an extractor of some kind. |
haha thanks! i ended up booting up my pc to get onto traxxas. (differnt IP)
man...some people are RETARDED....HOW HARD is it to install a motor mount? |
That's what I said! LOL

Malibu-epic fail-69 is the brain damaged one. The other guy is just retarded. I make a new name over there about once a week just so I can slam the idiots.
|
used a proxy server and read the thread
OMFG! that's the same SOB i was arguing with that got me banned, and he was flapping his lips about the same motor. I hope he hurts himself and learns something post 60 even mentions me! HA HA HA |

|
Well that was all hype... I have done faster on 4s :)
|
Looks like Dock didnt make it, He really should have come over here and read about JZE and Nic Cases's feats and how to go about it, nice attempt though, give him props for trying... Though my emaxx does 55mph on a daily basis for 6 months straight (cough)

I want to know what tires you run.I have yet to find a good 50+ mph bashing tire.
|
I personally like the part where he said he was just going up and quit the hobby. With 3 E-Revos and over $5000 invested.
Why on earth would you do that? If I sunk $5k into anything I'm pretty sure I would stick with it, no matter what it was. Oh well, you want to get rid of those E-Revos, I am currently accepting donations to the "FireWire79 needs a new RC Car" Charity. Just send me a PM and I will gladly help you get your donations to the needy RC Addicts. |
Well thats a let down. I'm not sure either how you can drop $5000 into something then move on. I'd still replace the gear and run it again. He didn't even get to wot before the trans gave out.

This is what happens when a SportMaxx seperates at about 50mph. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xZa4...e=channel_page |
Nice, but isn't easier to just walk up to the mail box and open it.But honestly Chevrons.I ran them once when I first got my Emaxx, then took them off.Maybe I need to try them again. At the time I was doing lower speed, and they'll be going on my E-revo this time.
|
Quote:
I love the Chevrons too. I'm not pushing top speed runs like you are, but they are the best gripping tire I've tried so far. I do love my phaltlines for top speed runs though. You need to reglue them BEFORE you blow them off the rims. Those guys know how to make tires, too bad they don't know how to glue them. LOL |
My phalts came apart at the edges and one of them came apart in the center. The foams were sticking through the tires at the end of the run.
|
phaltlines get the thumbs down, my axial terrarizers are so much better, those pahltlines dont even stick that well onroad. Sure look cool in pictures though
|
Well I've got them no reason not to give them a go.I really generally only run 40-45.But my buddies both have MMM combo's and they like to get silly and run around 50,and I'm just not so good at letting them whip me.So inevitably I throw 6s in there without regearing, and inevitably I'm reglueing or replacing a tire.Life was just so much easier when I was stuck with 45 and 4s.
|
I was able to hit 54 with my truggy on bowties.... Not stable at all though.
|
Whatever tire you choose, do yourself (and the tire) a favor and tape the tires and balance the wheel/tire combos.
Some ducktape works fine, one wrap with about 1 inch overlap is fine. I use a prop balancer and 2 part epoxy putty to balnce my wheels. The erevo with a 1515 1.5d and 19/50 gearing does about 45 mph and is just floats at that speed. Before the balancing the tires where throwing the truck around at 40... |
I balance the tires by removing some of the plastic inside the wheels with a dremel. I would much rather remove unsprung weight than add it.
|
no joke that the chevroms are tough. Been running them for a while, but my LPR crime fighters are AWESOME:intello:
