My life story, in case anyone is wondering...

I have no idea why I am about to write this. I will not proofread so please excuse my kind of bad english and spelling/puncuation errors. I was originally born in Temagami, a small town in northern ontario, canada. I live there for about 8 years and move to western russia. Live there for a couple of years and move to finland and norway (had a house in both fir a while) and then back to BC in canada for 2 year and them to cali where i live now. i hate it here in cali as it is hot and dry all the time.. about to start water rations. I've live here since 1.5 years ago and in the same house. House has been burnd down twice (one because of arson and the other an electrical issue.) Damn non brushless electricity!  If all of you are wondering why my engish is not so good now but usually is in most of post is because I proofread it a lot usually and fix any mistake. In the first fire my mom was burn to death but I have a stepmom now... and all is well. Total RC loss in the fire was about $20k and my prize 1:1 '63 lincoln continental resto. Moving along... i speak 8 languages (english is 6thof me to learn) german, russian, finnish, french, swedish, norsk, and mirro... division of russian. My fave band would be rammstein, tv show king of the hill, movie into the wild or long way round. My stepdad and step-stepmom live in a nice house and my dad and other stepmom live in a singlewide trailer in the mountains... i enjoy mountainbiking, rc and airsofting... if anyone meets me in person i apologize for saying "eh" a lot, but i am canadian so i can;t really help it. Now i am 15 years old and would be in a eld class in high school but nobody speaks russian so that be a little hard for me. I'm not sure what to do about college, no fund and no way to get one. I run on cross country and track teams and 2 days ago broke the 4 minute mile.. Got 3:57 and was happy about that, anywho.. I sorry if any one pitys me for losses, but please dont as i am completely satisfied with my life. if anyone wants to post some of their experience or a question or whatever please go ahead. I figured I post because you all are like a 3rd family to me and am very happy to be on this awesome forum will all you helpful people. If anyone has the paitence to read this, thank you!

I read all of it and your spelling and punctuation is fine to me. I am really sorry to hear about your mom passing in the fire.

trev3813 01.30.2009 10:52 PM

I know you said not to, but I can't help but feel sorry for you considering what you've been through. For someone your age, you are dealing with it extremely well.

On a lighter note- HOLY CRAP DUDE! You broke a 4-minute mile??!!??? :surprised: :great:

Thanks man, and yes I did. Running is my other hobby.

Until I seen that your only 15 I was thinking that you where on a drunken rant! Sorry for all your losses! Stay away from alcohol as a way out, when your old enough, drinking socially is fun.

BL_RV0 01.30.2009 11:02 PM

I don't plan to drink or do drugs. I've never tried weed or any drug and never had a drop of alcohol.

trev3813 01.30.2009 11:09 PM

Wait, you had a 20K in rcs, and a 63' car, where the hell you gettin all this money?! I can't even afford to pay off my truck. lol and i only owe 200 on it

BL_RV0 01.30.2009 11:15 PM

You said no way to get to college? Keep working on that running (sub-four minute mile!?!), and colleges will give you a free ride to fun for them. Scholarships are the golden ticket! Keep up the good work and good attitude kid! We are your "other" family!

rabosi 01.31.2009 12:17 AM

No doubt losing your mom was very rough, but you have a great attitude about life. No matter how bad things get, it can always be worse. Congrats on the sub-4 mile. Not many people can say they did that.

BL_RV0 01.31.2009 12:27 AM

Thanks guys. I will try to get a schorlarship to college, but only if grades stay good.

lincpimp 01.31.2009 12:35 AM

Damn Ian, that explains alot! 8 languages, man I only know two, american and british...

That sucks you lost the lincoln, was it the 4dr convertible model? I have always wanted one of those, only cool 4dr convertible, and the only way 4 dudes can look cool in a convertible...

My 2nd car was a 76 conti, not the greatest, but it did have a big block and a back seat that had plenty of "leg" room...

As far as college goes, you should be a shoe in (no pun intended) with your athletic ability. You will have to write essays when you apply, but i have a feeling that your various life experiences will make for a great read, and most colleges will accept you. How are your acedemics? Taken any of the Act/Sat style tests yet?

BL_RV0 01.31.2009 01:16 AM

Leg room..
I had the suicide door hardtop.
As far as academics go- I have a consistent 3.8GPA. I have taken a PSAT.

TDC57 01.31.2009 02:28 AM

:oh: Woo.. It's way cool and sad too.. I hope you continue to stay on the highroad :yes:it will pay off in the long run..

Best of luck Sir..

But please note.
I'm still running your truck in the ground on the 15th..:lol::rofl::wink:

BL_RV0 01.31.2009 12:38 PM

Hey Shaun can you do me a huge favour (??)
Could you bring a spare 1515 if you have one? I'm on the fence about buying one and my 600XL sucks.

_paralyzed_ 01.31.2009 01:36 PM

Thanks Ian! RCM is my 2nd family (ha, beat you by one) and I like to know where the people I'm chatting with are coming from. Definitely stay away from the drugs and alcohol, you're doing good if you made it this far. I smoked weed at 13 and it's been holding me back ever since. I could buy a house and a business with all the money that has gone up in smoke over the years. Being clean was my new years resolution and so far it's going good.

You're a neat guy stay that way! Later.

BL_RV0 01.31.2009 01:51 PM

Good to hear Harold. Thanks for the comments man.

This is great! Just keep up this attitude for the next 4-5 years and you will be in my shoes .

Nice to hear you have such a positive outlook on life. Seems there aren't too many people who can claim that these days.

glassdoctor 02.01.2009 04:23 PM

holy crap... 4 min mile is awesome!

I used to run when I was your age, but never did track or cross country in school. I just ran out on the country roads for exercise... usually ran about 2 miles a day. But I never timed a mile... prob would have struggled to do a 6 min mile? who knows LOL

Definitely stay off the drugs... and alcohol can wait until you are older and hopefully mature enough to keep in check. A lot of guys start drinking... think they are the bomb... and end up in their 30's... still drinking like a teenager. That's not a good thing for your job or family life. You have much more productive things to do than piss your life away drinking. :)

GHSTRCN 02.02.2009 01:30 AM

Wow, 15 and you can run that fast!!?!?

Please come to my track/x-c team. The best runner is an idiot and thinks he's the man with his 4:22 mile. I can only run 4:50ish at 17, congrats.

And besides your 1st fire (my condolences), I would be proud of having your life. The future looks bright!
