I'll post whatever you send me, but since you took so long to post them(still don't have them) and your story has changed twice about the tranny in question( first you typed it wrong, then it was your uncles in a t-maxx conversion, now you don't have it and your uncles building an e-maxx to sell?) your pics prove nothing.

You posted this thread, so here's my opinion: pedeboi is too young and immature to do honest dealings with. I hope he learns from this.

he has clearly switched from making excuses to damage control. Everybody here can figure out what is going on. Unfortunate.

What is the point of this thread? I really don't feel like trawling through pages in another thread. A short synopsis would be nice...

Brian - best thread deleted - P took a PIF of some very nice bits such as Ali tranny case and is now selling very similiar gear for big $'s - just leaves a bad taste for those that PIF. If you took a case as PIF because you needed it you could/should pass on same...

I know I'd love an FLM emaxx trans case...

I say delete the pages from the PIF thread, and leave this one. I never received the pics he supposedly sent. It is what it is.

Well, that does suck, and I'd be quite miffed too. I'm not defending him nor am I trying to victimize the victim (as a matter of fact, this is the type of things for which I would punch someone in the face repeatebly), but IMO, once he has it, he can do whatever he wants with it, including selling it for a huge profit. But, that also means no one is going to trust him or do anything to help him out ever again. Karma is a b!tch.

I guess PIF dealings should be done only between respected and well-established members. Hard lessons all the way around...

Hey BrianG hows it going. Good to see you trowling around in here with nothing better to do:rofl:. Here is the skinny on what happend. I posted up some stuff on the PIF thread, and Pedepoi jumped onboard saying that he could use the stuff seeming to be in somewhat of a money crunch. What I had to give was about $100 worth of brand new and some used Deans connectors/pigtails/& adapters, an aluminum T-Maxx tranny loaded $150, and an empty stock T-Maxx tranny case $20. He told us that he wanted them for a project or whatever so I sent them to him. In the midst of all of this it turned out to be his birthday, so I mailed it all to him free of charge as an added gesture of good faith in celebration of this young mans birthday.

Then he turns around and lists like 20 items on another site for sale, not once posting up any of them on our RCM PIF thread. The kicker is that some of his for sale items listed seemed to be the items I had just sent to him. Like you stated once you receive them they become your property, and you can do as you wish, but this does not excuse ones behavior in the RCM forum and its PIF thread which has now become an annual event.

The bottom line here is if you want to be a part of this great Forum then act like a gentleman and do the right thing. Whats done is done. We all just want this to be a lesson for everyone to think about how you conduct yourself on this forum. We are all brothers in R/C arms here, and we take things to heart. I hope this explains things to you BG.

This reminds me of when my dad put a ton of work into making a custom set of headers as a gift for a friend who promptly sold them for a bunch of money. Friends no more.

With that said, I'm still withholding judgment until pede has had a bit more time to post the pics and what-not. While everything appears shady, it's still remotely possible that he's just a 14 year old kid who made the mistake in ignorance of common sense/manners. It doesn't excuse the action, but it helps knowing whether it was done from ignorance or with malice.

I try to give more than I receive in the PIF threads. I enjoy what I get, but actually have more fun giving stuff away. Look for a new batch of free stuff in the near future.

Yea I agree wiht you and that is why I have held back some here. I am not sure that he meant to do this, but it does still leave a little bit of a bad taste for me and I will be a litlte more careful in teh PIF thread. It is a shame that I have to feel that way. I to really enjoyed giving my stuff to someone who truly seemed in need of it, and on his birthday. What better time to share. Oh well, what can you do?? Life goes on.

I need a G3 chassis, CF of course, some Proline wheels/tires(must be in new condition) two 3s LiPos(5k minimum) and a NIB MMM. Anyone help me out here? Oh its my birthday tomorrow. I'll be having another birthday in 2 weeks if you miss this one....

I'm just glad I didn't send him my charger that he wanted. That would have pissed me off.

I have never participated in the PIF, but I thought the idea was that if you see an item someone has listed, and if you can use it...you speak up and pay for shipping.

.....but only if you have something to PF yourself. Is that not part of the deal?

Yes that is kind of the idea, but there are no real expectations or any underlying rules per say. I mean come on guys this is simple. One guys starts it out by posting up teh opening thread announcing that he has some kind of part or assembly that he is willing to part with if anyone needs it for one of their projects. Whom ever really needs it and gets first dibs in, it is his for the taking. In return he then is supposed to post up something that he wishes to unload, and so on. People just got a little carried away by flat out asking for particular items. It is all in good fun and a great way to help each other out. For certain it was never meant to be a place to pick up free stuff for anyone to resell somewhere else and make money off of others generosity. I hope that this clears any misunderstandings up for future PIF threads that may come up here on RCM. This is not a kids sand box, and we post here in good faith that we are all here to learn from one another and in turn we watch out for each other as well. So no silly business here. We do have fun here on RCM, but we keep the level of respect for everyone our number one priority. Integrity and honor will keep you out of trouble no matter where you are. Lets keep things clean and safe here for everyone including the young teens and even us old farts in our later teens.:rofl::lol:

I'm just following up with my part in this. I gave pedeboi an opportunity to clear things up, he said he would send me pictures, and I never received them. Never.

ok guys, i feel like a shithead now. i have sent the pic or so says my nokia 6085. if that doesnt work i want u guys to compromise on a solution. i hav already offered the case back to jerry with a TQ3 and RX...

I want the case. I recieved your pic and it was not installed in a t-maxx like you had stated. I will install the tranny, and love it, and appreciate it and cuddle it to pieces. AND NOT TRY TO SELL IT.

Quite true. I will be offloading a bunch of stuff soon. And i guess it will go in the PIF thread... My buddies on here will get the first crack at the stuff though. I may do a 5 item max thing, like pick 5 and thats it. Only issue is that I cannot edit the post, so I will most likely put it on rctech or the crawler forum...

No problem pedeboi. I am happy with the way it all worked out and we were able to make harold's day as well. I hope he calms down a bit now before he pops a blood vessle or something. He is like the Tazmanian Devil on wheels. Its all good. And thanks for the birthday wish. Turning 50 isn't so bad. I got some more R/C stuff and had a great day all around.

Not sure if I want to use the PIF thread, seeing as how it seems to get abused. Don't worry, my buddies on here will get first crack at the stuff (you know who you are).
