Selling my Brushless Hyper 7 TQ Sport

Well, I've decided to sell my BigMaxximum powered Hyper 7 buggy, since the future of my current job is not too stable. I'm sure I'll find a better job soon, but it will be better to have the funds set aside just in case. Once things are settled again, I'll be back to build another fully custom brushless beast!!
Here is a link to the sale: Brushless Hyper 7 Thanks for looking.

Price Drop!!

I've just had a price drop on my auction. It is now $1175.00 for over a $2100.00 investment! Hyper 7 Auction Thanks for looking.

nbcaznmaster 12.29.2005 03:16 PM

would you sell the bl system seperatly? I am mainly interested in the esc.

Nick 12.29.2005 03:45 PM

Very good conversion you have done. Tidy.

Compliantguy 12.29.2005 03:59 PM

nbcaznmaster,

Thanks for your interest. Perhaps I will sell the items separately if the auction doesn't sell. Are you only interested in the ESC? If I was going to part it out, I would prefer to sell the motor, ESC, UBEC and fans as a package deal. And what a deal it would be!:) PM me and we'll discuss. Thanks.

Nick,

Thanks for the positive comment!:)

Scott711 12.30.2005 01:59 AM

Hey Nick, that's one beautiful buggy you've got there, and your shop/work area is so neat and orginized. If I wasn't in the middle of my own project I would seriously consider making you an offer. It's a sad day when a guy has to sell something he put so much time and effort not to mention money into to make ends meet. I hope the job thing gets better for you soon so we can see what your next project will be.

JR XS3 Pro Radio also For Sale

I forgot to mention that my JR XS3 Pro radio with 2500 mAh NiMH and JR Carrying Case is also being sold: JR XS3 Pro Thanks.

Sylvester 01.01.2006 04:36 PM

Nice, how much do those originally cost?

Compliantguy 01.01.2006 04:51 PM

Sylvester,

$249.00 for the XS3 Pro, $20.00 for the JR Carrying Case, $20.00 for the NiMH Batteries and $5.00 for the Charge Harness. Right at $300.00 invested.

BTW, I lowered my Buy-It-Now price on the Brushless Buggy to $995.00, but's that as low as it's going to go.

Sylvester 01.01.2006 04:55 PM

Wow, thats a pretty good deal on the XS3, would you allow your buggy to go if someone bidded 350$ and no one else wanted it ? :p

Compliantguy 01.01.2006 05:04 PM

Ha Ha Ha, I'm afraid I'm not that generous!:L:

squeeforever 01.01.2006 05:20 PM

Now i bet your not like him, or even close, lol your no asain!

squeeforever 01.01.2006 07:06 PM

thanks!

compliant- what kind of speed and temps were you getting?

Compliantguy 01.02.2006 12:07 AM

I never got a chance to clock it. If I had to guess, I would say it was in the high 30's, maybe 40. I know this much, it would spin all 4 tires on the pavement, and that's including the large XTM street tires! In the grass, it would tear two 10' ruts through the grass down to the dirt, with the Badlands tires! TONS of stump pulling torque! I can't imagine what it would be like with LiPos.

The motor temp was 130 and the speed control was 94, after a full set of Intellect 3800 16 cell packs.

squeeforever 01.02.2006 12:16 AM

why wouldnt it wheelie? its got a center slipper and with the torque of the pletty im surprized it wasnt on 2 wheels the whole time.

Because of difference in oil thickness front and rear :)
Maybe more... mine does wheelie in reverse without problems (for brief period of course), but not forward...

What about cells temp? Curious about current ...

Artur

Compliantguy 01.02.2006 12:35 AM

It sits very low to the ground with 16 cell IB3800's installed and I had the slipper set to slip, to protect the drivetrain. I guess I could've tightened the slipper, because the drivetrain is built like a tank, but never got a chance to really play with it that much. I bet it would wheelie with lightweight LiPos!:D

Compliantguy 01.02.2006 12:36 AM

The cells got to about 120. I don't know how much current it was drawing.
