Can I get a little backup, these silly people on the traxxas forums started a whole thread to flame me.. Story goes like this.

-Chris_york buys the truck(Brushless emaxx 3906)
-Takes him 3 weeks to finally get payment out
-recived the Money order this past saturday but the post office was closed by the time I got home
-Cashed the money order yesterday and purchased a box for the emaxx and packed it up for shipment.
-Then I check on the traxxas forums and find this!

I understand that he wants the truck but you have to give some leeway, especially since it took that person a month to get me the money for the truck.. Its really frustrating to me how people can be so oblivious and single sided about things... can someone with common sense please post and help me out.. Im getting dumber by the second.:no:

I like the part where one guys says "this guy is an idiot and should be banned from the site"... So he thinks that any idiot should be banned from the forum. With that kind of reasoning the traxxas forums would be a lonely place...

I cant post over at the Traxxas forum due to Cornholiocool (nor do I want to)( Just check out zero_cool, fitting screen name). Post them a link here or C&P over to them....

Chris York, Ben (Brushlessboy16) is our homie here. He has plenty of good trades and sales under his belt here and other RC forums. Sounds like he did the right thing waiting until the money order was cashed... especially if you didn't send it for a month.. Alot of scammers out there. People may know you on the Traxxas forum Chris York and not so Much Ben, but its the opposite here. Ben doesnt know you so why ship you out a $300 emaxx without the cash in his hand ? Im sure you will have it soon or we will all take Ben out behind the RCM shop and give him a good flogging.

This is why paypal makes trades easier, people get their money right away and a record to show it was done. PP is a pain in a lot of other ways tho, don't get me wrong. ebay gives you 10 days before any complaint can be made. Sounds like the guy needs to chill out a bit. Hopefully you laid out terms before the deal was made so no one has unreal expectations or promises.

Dont sweat it.... 80percent of the people on the traxxas forum OD on anxiety. Its the worst forum on the net, what did you expect from a bunch of immature spoiled dumbasses? Was the cash he sent you sent in MO or check form. If it was sent in check form do not send the maxx clears otherwise you could get screwed over...

Ben, you should nicely ask a mod at traxxas to delete that thread for obvious reasons. In the event it doesn't get deleted I added some comments on you behalf.

Devil's Advocate speaking here. Sounds like he mailed the payment within a week,if you got it 9 days after your listing says sold. But because your discription says it comes with batteries, you'll split shipping, extra bulks included, and cost is 275. If I sent you an email and you said 350 I would have just said NO.

Who cares (not going to bother following link) - you have the money now - ship the truck and publically post up the tracking number

any noise will die very quickly...

As Arct1k says, just post the tracking number on the thread and tell everyone to stuff it (that will do 2 things, get you kicked off the traxxas forum, and possibly get the thread deleted, both positive IMO.) Make sure you use very crude language and make references to the excessive weight of at least one moderator's mother.

Why does it matter?

because after you spend some time with him and his dad, you relizes that he does have money, he doesn't flaunt it around, he doesn't drive a $100 car(regularly:surprised:) and he's a cool guy to hang out with.

He modifies engines for a living, like put 400hp into a civic, drag cars, etc.
