Truggy forum

Not a bad idea, Walt. I guess I need to carry some Truggy parts. Maybe I will make a better chassis brace for the Lightning stadium when I get my cnc machine! By the way, nice AVATAR!

HotnCold 12.21.2004 09:14 PM

cnc

what is the eta for that cnc? - and maybe a chassis even????? could be interesting...

RC-Monster Mike 12.21.2004 09:33 PM

eta - next week. Hopefully! I was thinking about an electric conversion for it, too!

It is my nitro Hyper 7 to electric conversion. Making it more of a truggy.... Now just need some good brushless motors to test in it. I already have the 9918 controller.

fastmaxx 12.22.2004 07:22 PM

Yes, Keith, Like that! I was speaking of the Hot Bodies lightning Pro stadium truck to convert, though. The long wheelbase and wide suspension makes it super stable and it is EASY to drive fast. Electric 1/8 buggies are cool, too.

studysession 12.22.2004 07:39 PM

Thanks!

HotnCold 01.09.2005 08:02 AM

Sweet looking - bet you cant wait to see it go...

studysession 01.09.2005 02:04 PM

Thanks - It runs great. i ran it with a Warrior 9918 ESC and a 10L motor on 12 cells. It is insane.

RC-Monster Mike 01.09.2005 11:11 PM

Walt,
I made the motor mount for the truggy today. It needs a little tweaking, but it will do the job. When I actually sit down to do the actual conversion, I will change a few things on the truck itself (move servos, re-locate motor, etc.).

let me know when you need the triznuggy. Cant wait to test it -it should rock when done - who needs nitro - super wide - super fast - super power - super voltage - CANT BRUSH THIS....what more could you ask for??? Go CNC GO...

studysession 01.10.2005 03:26 PM

triznuggy????

HotnCold 01.10.2005 04:57 PM

lol trizz

its a slang thing - trizznuggy = truggy - lol

In france, some crazy guys start from a 1/8 off road buggy to make something like that... :D

a 6x6 ;)

6X6

Thats a cool looking monster - dual fuel tanks - thats cool - does it turn well for being that long? If you could post a pic of the underneath so I could see how they did the chassis??? that would be cool....

Juju 01.11.2005 08:53 AM

I've no picture of the chassis. As far as I remember, the chassis is home made form aluminium using the stock shape.

Turning radius is a bad point of this truck but it's look fun on a track :)

We have a local guy that makes a kit for a 6 wheeled, 6 wheel drive, 6 wheel steering e-maxx/t-maxx. It is an awesome machine for sure! It also truns on a dime for such a huge machine. I will see if I can get a picture or a link to his site. he raced it a few times at some monster races, too.
