I got this e mail from Tesla they are starting to build an all electric sedan, looks as sporty as a 5 series Bimmer 0-60 in 5.6 secs and can go 300 miles on a charge with thier largest battery....here is a link

I really like this car

I'm still trying to figure that out too...Maybe the 5 adults go in the front and rear seats and you just stuff the kids in the trunk?

I did find out it will be running a liquid cooled electric motor putting out 400 hp, and due to the car being electric it saves a lot of space to make the interior roomier, there is a trunk under the front hood....too bad Tesla didnt recieve a bunch of the bailout money

and there are 2 worthless seats in the back area so it could classify as a SUV

Metallover 04.12.2009 12:22 AM

I figured out how 7 people can fit in there. One person drives, one person is I'm the front passenger seat, and 4 wonderful ladies and I sit in the backseat. I'm sure you could ft 7 that way...

Also, the two seats in the back aren't useless. I would refer to them as the loveseats and reserve them for the guy and one of the girls that are sitting in the back seat for when they need private time on the 300 mile road trip.

I have done some research on the Dodge Circuit EV, it does remind you of a Tesla roadster crossed with some Dodge styling, if the price is resonable I would buy one...some people are calling it a baby Viper

I can do you one better. How do you fit 7 people IN the cab of a regular cab truck?

You got me driving, a girl sitting in my lap sideways, my boy on the right with the same, and stack em 3 high in the center. :na:

I have checked that out on youtube before. It does look like a little viper. Any idea on the price thought?

you guys need to look at the fisker karma

Metallover 04.12.2009 09:22 AM

hey! The other night my dad asked me what I was going to do with the money now that I got a job. I said I didn't know. Well I've got a couple vehicles lined up. A truck will get me through high school and a 2004 Honda will get me through college and beyond. If I really try I could get an ev before I'm fifty!!

Word - the Karma is the most beautiful car in the world right now if you ask me. Not to mention it's technology. I love what Tesla is doing though too - great to see this stuff.

azjc 04.14.2009 02:45 AM

the problem with the Fisker is its not affordable, at least the Tesla is more affordable. The Tesla sedan is named "White Star" and with the money they will make on it will go back into the company for the next sedan which is going to be named the "Blue Star" and thier goal is to have a price range in the 20k-30k range. This will be where they will make the real money. The reason the companies are making these ultra sporty electric cars is to get the rich interested in them since they are the only ones who can afford them right now and they need to buy them now to keep the companies afloat

Well . . . the Tesla isn't affordable for me either:lol: Heck, even if they put out the 20k-30k car it isn't affordable for me.

I thought the Fisker was a pretty good price though considering it's looks, features, and overall package. When you compare it to other cars at 80k it seems pretty sweet to me. Looks every bit as good as the Maseratti Gran Turismo that costs much more and is one of the other sexiest cars on earth.
