NandaRacing NRT-3 Brushless
 

Hi!

Here are a few pics of my NRT-3 converted to brushless (of course :lol:)

It is not completely done, but it drives and handles very well so far :party:

- Hobbywing EZRun 150A ESC + 2350KV Combo
- Novak dual battery box kit
- 2x Suspect 5400mAh 7.4V batteries
- RCM Motor mount

Why are your trays mounted off the edge of the chassis? move them towards the middle as close as possible that the idea of the forward motor design.

I didn't want to drill any holes in the chassis, as it is quite expensive :P
I haven't had any problems with the battery location so far, but i'm still trying different motor and battery locations to see what is best.

ive never seen or heard of a nanda brand car, where are they from?

In Europe and Asia it is called NandaRacing, but can't rememper the american "name".

I'd turn the batts around so you can shorten the esc wires a bit.

I tried turning the batteries around, but the wires would hit against the centerdiff.

I think you may find your handling very much improved with the batteries closer to the centerline of the chassis. an extra 2 holes on each side isn't going to kill the value of the chassis compared to you actually running the chassis for the first time.

TQ rebrands/sells the NandaRacing cars in the US - they are pretty decent cars. :)

I am still testing some different designs, and i went with the "classic" deisgn, with the battery in one side and the motor in the other side of the chassis.
It handles much better, as the design with the motor in the front is pretty nose-heavy.

What mount are you using? I'm thinking of converting the Nanda NRB-3

It's a Mugen motormount from RCM - almost direct fit.

Not really anything :-)
I only needed to make 2 of the holes in the center diff brace (http://www.morfars.dk/rc/center-diff...61-p-3846.html) a little bit bigger.

I recently won a new Nanda Racing NRT-3 Pro Truggy Kit on eBay for $93.99 shipped! It comes from the factory loaded with 7075-T6 Aluminum and Carbon-Fiber parts literally everywhere, and also comes loaded with more awesome features, technologies, performance & unique parts than almost any other truggy on the market...and at a much lower price! I truly believe this thing is going to become the hottest truggy on the track, or in the backyard, in a very short time!

I am going to convert mine to brushless, so I will keep everyone updated!

Oh, did I mention just how bad-ass this truggy is? Since I haven't received it yet, I can only go on pictures and reviews I have seen and read, but it is right up there with the AE RC8T, Losi 8T, Mugen MB-X6T, and even the KING of truggies...the XRAY XT8 2009 Spec!

Since I am getting a new XRAY XT8 2009 Spec Truggy & a new XRAY 808'10 Buggy and converting them both to brushless, so I may take my new Nanda Truggy and leave it nitro with a new LRP ZR.30 X Competition Engine. I ran an LRP Z.28R Spec3 in my old full-blown nitro Supermaxx, and it was flat-out amazing, so I can only imagine how bad-ass this .30 Comp-X will be in a super-lightweight truggy!
