Can you say epic failure?!
So I was searching around for smoking deals, as I usually do while I am at work, and stumbled across this.
http://www.impaktrc.com/product_info...oducts_id=2629 Good price for a BL motor, especially if someone wanted to do a HV setup in a rustler/pede. Not going to set the world on fire, but would pair nicely with a lower mah 5s lipo and some sort of esc (quark 65, maybe a MM). Now impact are saying that this will run an 1/8 buggy? Not sure what gearing you would need to make this survive, but it would have to be low...like a 12t. That would give 32mph, and even them might be too much for the little feigao. I have run lower winds of the s can and they are decent motors, but not up to running an 1/8 scale 4wd buggy, maybe a crt.5? |
f'ing Linc. Got me. You got the crippled guy. Ha ha. You so funny
|
After crashing PC again... I abused my mod powers and removed the the last sentence...
|
thanks much!

Public Service Announcement: Before clicking ANY post from linc, simply hover over the link and view the actual URL in the status bar (at the bottom of your browser). |
HAHAHA, finally got Harold and Arct1k... I will quit, I think Rick needs to be retired! Fun while it lasted!
Now if we have learned anything it is not to click on lonely links! |

how do you change what the text says in a link? I only know how to copy and paste them. If your linking, to say, wheels, how do you make the link in your thread say "wheels" instead of the url?
|
A normal URL will have the link as the URL and the text. Simply change the text. Example (use [ and ] instead of { and }):
{URL="http://rc-monster.com"}DISPLAY ME INSTEAD{/URL} Result: DISPLAY ME INSTEAD Another easy way to do it would be to type what you want displayed, highlight that text, clock the link icon (the globe with the chain link on it), and then copy/paste or type the URL in there. |
thanks

I did it, Brian! I did it! All by myself! (with your help)

sonafabiotch Linc crashed my firefox in an earlier thread and I had to ctrl-alt-del the MFer. You are coming to the RCM bash right? Just checking as I'm planning something.... FF can catch paypal phishers, but they let a rick roll hijack you? that's the uberfail |

I tend to trust until proven otherwise. Once lost, have fun trying to regain it.
On an unrelated note: Why is that Rick Roll thing locking up people's browsers? I just tried it and it simply moves the window around a few times, and then throws up alerts to display the lyrics. Once done, the window closes. Harmless enough, if irritating. Now, you want to lock a browser? Enter the following in your address bar: javascript:while(true)alert('Random text here...') The only way to get out of that is to kill the task. Unless you are quick enough to close the window between alert iterations... |
Going to actually try that brian- here goes nothing.
|
 I tried it. Now how do I put that in my sig??
|
Oh jeez, what did I start?
|
Why wont it work Brian???? NVM
|
Probably because the forum only allows VB [] tags. Best bet would be to create an HTML page, set an onload event handler to do that, save it to your website (if you have one), and then link to that...
|
 You take me for a computer science major.... That's over my head, and I'm very tall.
|
OK then, try this: Don't click me...
|
Haha nice one!

DAMIT brian . You will get it one day . |
lol, the link says "don't click me"! What kind of warning do you need? I said previously it will lock the browser. Or is your curiosity so intense that you must click it?
Also, you can make the whole computer run REALLY slow by creating an infinite loop that does nothing, but eventually, IE will complain and ask you if it should stop running scripts. It works, but too easy to defeat. The alert version is easier and better. |

:na: After getting punked twice by that green slimy amphibian I knew better.:na:

I don;t think I'll be clicking any links by linc anytime soon....
|
I freaking love Rick Rolling people, it is hilarious. Oh, BTW, all you have to do to make it go away is hold down enter.
|
^ We have a winnner!
|
Shame I never figured that out...
