These Tires on Pavement, Dirt, and Somewhat Grass?
Wanted to make sure they were worth the whole $25 bucks before I order em for my EMaxx or ESavage......
Anyone know how well they wear on pavement? Grass? Dirt? Does anyone have em at ALL? And the hex? THANKSIES :intello: Oopsies! http://cgi.ebay.com/NIB-Racingspike-...lenotsupported |
Theoretically they could last forever since they don't exist?
Either I fail miserably to see a link or you fail miserably at posting one :rules: |
would be a little small on a maxx wouldn't they. Seems like someone else had a post saying they hard and wear very fast on pavement because they just spin and dissolve the spikes.
|
Hmm, I guess you're right... But then which one should I go? :X
|
Why do you want to put buggy tires on the Emaxx besides the fact of those tires being so cheap.
|
They don't look THAT thin.....
I guess I could go with these: http://cgi.ebay.com/Yoko-1-8-pre-mou...lenotsupported Cheap? Budget :] |
They are for 1/8 scale buggy, There going to be awlfully small on the MT's ?
The rims are 17mm hubbed also. |
i would recommend getting 1/8 truggy wheels if you are trying to get away from the wide face MT wheels.
They make the truck handle like a dream. Im running LPR crimefighters and love em....wouldnt run em on pavement tho. As a rule of thumb, i dont run pin wheels on pavements.... You gotta give in some areas of performance. A allround good tire would be stock maxx or mashers. but oyu dont get the performance of truggy wheels. |
Rawfuls, you need to clean out your PM folder. It's full and can't receive anymore messages. Let me know when you tidied up so I can ask you a few more Q's.
|
I hear the truggy badlands are very hard thus making them suck on pavement.
|
ProLine brand Badlands are NOT hard, they are soft and hookup well on everything. They're not as good as AKA tires for racing, but they do just fine. I'll pickup a set for just messing around with my Mugen.
I wouldn't buy off brand tires. There's a reason ProLine and AKA are the go-to guys for tires. |

I know you were. There's a reason they're off-brand... :wink::wink:
|
I have badlands on my E-revo & I`m surprised how well they work on pavement, considering how their meant for dirty,
