Which are the better bulkheads from the site, fastlane or integy?

Thanks.

You mean bulkless? That means i would have to sell my 1/8 diffs, shock towers and plastics bulks. That alot of work.

FLM, integy is light but it is molded and VERY weak, flm is very durable, and if you manage to break it, the replacements are cheap.

actually the newer integy stuff is pretty strong as well as light. if im not mistaken mike runs the integys on one of his trucks, although im not 110% positive.

i heard that he has a few integy parts on one of them but i dont think that the truck is made up of all integy parts

will integy be strong enough tho? I mean where does it bend.

boss 302 02.05.2006 05:02 PM

integy bulkheads should be strong enough but i would reccomend the flm bulkless

Why would you sell your 1/8 diffs. ? Use the gears in the FLM 1/8 Hybrids

$w!ft 02.05.2006 05:20 PM

If i were to buy a VBS, wouldnt i have to sell my 1/8 ue diffs?...

Are these flm hybrid compatible with the ue 1/8 diffs... Maybe they might be a better choice then.

Double post.

mmdooley 02.05.2006 05:22 PM

The VBS is designed to hold the 1/8 diffs.

$w!ft 02.05.2006 05:23 PM

Whats the difference between flm hybrids and flm combo? So basically if i bought the VBS i would need to sell my shock towers, bulkheads, and 1/8 diff cases??

mmdooley 02.05.2006 05:25 PM

And the FLM's will to and at a lower $$$$

squeeforever 02.05.2006 05:25 PM

papa, i think when he said a vbs i think he ment bulkless system in general. swift, i would go with the flm hybrid bulkless system with your current 1/8th gears. they will fit just fine. you just wouldnt use the cases since the bulkless integrates the cases with the bulks.

EDIT: the combos are for standard gears and the hybrids are for 1/8th gears.

Papa 02.05.2006 05:26 PM

Shock towers will work.Bulkheads and diff cases are no lnger needed if you use UE non towered vbs, or FLM Hybrid.

$w!ft 02.05.2006 05:26 PM

OK, but what are the combos then? Im abit confused on thoses.

Secondly, I would have to reshim my gears correct?

mmdooley 02.05.2006 05:27 PM

Hello :027:

squeeforever 02.05.2006 05:40 PM

yes, you would have to reshim. like i said in my previous post the combos are for standard maxx gears and the hybrids are for 1/8th gears.
