:surprised:

Funny thing- I used to have a Madbull, which is 99% identical to the FigherBuggies they were using... hmm....

Great camera work! cool...love it how you can really see how the suspension articulated and how the chassis flex.

When we run you can't really appreciate how much abuse we give our cars/trucks....until you see it in slow motion.

LMAO when I saw the guy pulling the starter cord over and over.

Great find Neil!

Foxracin 08.08.2009 08:05 PM

Awesome video. I love how it shows how much everything flexes in the 2:00-3:00 minutes.

Bondonutz 08.08.2009 08:52 PM

Cool Video, The last 20 seconds-that was a brutal hit. Eeeep.
Thanks for posting.

big greg 08.08.2009 09:21 PM

wonder if the loosened everything up for the vids, that one buggies front wheels looked as if they wernt even connected lol

suicideneil 08.08.2009 09:28 PM

Yep, the suspension was horrible on those things- single wishbone with fixed camber as such- as the suspension compressed, the angle increases, and the servo saver is hopeless, as are the rubbery plastic turnbuckles- thats what made them such fun :mdr:

Finnster 08.08.2009 09:29 PM

Cool :)

Wats up with that buggy @2:45.. it looked like it didn't have F upper a arms. It was flopping all over the place.

Bigdumredneck 08.08.2009 09:55 PM

Parts flying off at the 4:30 mark...lmao!!!

One helluva video for sure

What's_nitro? 08.08.2009 10:46 PM

Hahaha! Cool vid. I'm glad I didn't have to clean them....

BL_RV0 08.08.2009 10:55 PM

Nice find Neil.

Andrew32 08.08.2009 11:54 PM

+1 I love seeing the suspension and all that working. Like you said the abuse we give these vehicles aren't appreciated until we see it here.
Those hits at the end are brutal! I love how the dirt flys up and theres the buggy just pluwing through. That one buggy's(possibly 1/10 buggy) front end was all over the place.

Sweet Vid thanks for sharing

Krawlin 08.09.2009 11:11 AM

That is probably the best RC video I have ever seen.

<object width="425" height="344">EDIT - here is another good one -

The guy in that video needs to learn how to control a car in the air. Almost looks like he is making it crash on purpose or something.

rawfuls 08.09.2009 11:51 AM

^Agreed, and slow motion videos get on my nerves sometimes, just my opinion..

Snipin_Willy 08.09.2009 01:18 PM

What kind of cameras around being used in these videos? I'm having a hard time thinking of how they're getting frames so close together at that kinda of slow motion replay, very smooth. I wonder there is some interpolating software.

suicideneil 08.09.2009 03:46 PM

300 frames per second- if you play that back at a normal rate of about 30 fps, you get the silky smooth result seen in the vids. High speed photography basically, they list the equipment used in the 1st video at the end.

What's_nitro? 08.09.2009 07:42 PM

@1:00 - How to break a turnbuckle on any truck except a Savage.....

PBO 08.10.2009 05:28 AM

Ha! my best RC is never on film....& that sucks!!

lincpimp 08.10.2009 10:40 AM

I really like the 5th scale gas buggy in the 1st vid, you can see the chassis flex all of the time, and the rear wheels are way out of balance! Good stuff Neil, I did not think you watched G rated vids...

suicideneil 08.10.2009 12:09 PM

Just occasionally...
